Default Pumba [OSR color java bot] dev thread

    Pumba development thread

    Introduction

    • Welcome to my Pumba development thread. I started this project to improve my Java and to offer something else than the mainstream injection/reflection bots. The development started around 5 months ago, now this seems like a long time but I didn't work 24/7 on it. I work on Pumba whenever I feel like it, this may change after the release. Although the bot is almost ready for release, I still want to show some progress because there is still a lot to do.

    Features

    • COLOR only
    • Public scripts build in: I provide all the scripts to make sure that there are only high quality scripts.
    • Java (jar application) simple press start and run, no crazy/annoying setups.
    • API for private scripts
    • Works only in resizable mode, works on any size
    • Be able to minimise the bot, might release a browser version ever
    • Debug features like XP-trackers and advanced color pickers / dev tools
    • Script and personal stats tracking
    • Break handlers
    • FREE!

    GUI

    • PICTURES BELOW MIGHT BE OUTDATED, CHECK THE PROGRESS TABLE FOR UP TO DATE PICTURES!
    • Personally I don't like very fancy GUI's, I'd rather keep it simple as you can see below.

    • Script menu:
      • Run select a script to start one.
      • Pause/Stop button to pause or stop the script (if you are running one).
      • Account manager, a manager to keep easier track of your accounts, also used to create your personal account antiban.

    • Debug menu:
      • Some examples: first picture: menu view, second picture: preview with Gametab and Inventory debug on.

    • XP tracker menu:
      • XP tracker (changes location if chatbox is open/closed)

    API

    • There will be most likely an API available for private scripts.
    • API example

very sexy, you might want to explicitly (as in outside of the 'features') list out [any] advantages over simba so that you can have everybody hop over to your platform (jking about the last bit but it would be nice to hear of any advantages, e.g cpu efficiency/learning curve/etc)

Really excited to see this idea come to fruition. I personally know Hoodz has expended a lot of time (and mine ) getting this project under way.
Looks great and I look forward to seeing how this progresses.

Looks very neat Hoodz, wonderful job. Happy to see this completely color-oriented. Just include Slacky's OCR and RSWalking system and you have something with lots of potential. Keep us updated.

@Flight using RSWalker, and my OCR would require porting 'em to java. Fully doable, but might be a pain in the ass.
Keep in mind that RSWalker and my OCR is release under GNU GPL v3, by using 'em, your software's source code must be made available. Same goes if you use code taken from Simba/MML, even if it is ported to eg. Java.

pretty impressive man, I would like to see how the cpu usage compares to other rs botting platforms (injection), and simba ofc!

Slack's OCR would actually have to have exports for JNI because it's a DLL..

What would you recommend looking at/watching if I wanted to create a version of this for RS3?

I talked with you a bit in the RuneMate Dev IRC about this, looked really cool. Glad you're still developing it.

Can't wait for the release, also glad you're supporting private scripts. What sort of plans do you have on release? A full website, or just something available here on Villavu?

This is Great; I flicked you a message about this within the past few days. Good Luck and I hope the momentum continues with the completion of this.

** Edit; Everybody has their attention set on genesis RID.. This is the real anticipation!! Im sure this will outmaneuver (RID) in many ways.

Where is the source? I can't find it on this thread. What does an "API for Private Scripts" mean?

    Cool artwork.

The best way to contact me is by email, which you can find on my website: http://wizzup.org
I also get email notifications of private messages, though.

I figured as much regarding difficulty, but the licensing ordeal never crossed my mind.

Yeah. It actually exists, unlike Genesis.

OT: Very cool project. Tons of support. Pinky promise me you'll stay free and go open-source? <3

I would jump over to Java from Pascal any time. Just a better language to code in imo.

    Looks nice @hoodz;!

What's the difference between the current script system here and what you have planned? Will people be able to post the scripts that they make publicly?

its much easier to use, you just drop a script (jar file) in the scripts folder and you are ready to go. And of course people will be able to post the scripts they make, its completely up to them
