This is what I don't understand, Chelsea are in the last 16 for Champion's League and they are discussing his future?

Could they not realise that the Premier League competition keeps increasing and to be at the top, you really need smart investment in present day players. Think Chelsea's players are too old school, and they need to keep innovating. The game is fundamentally changing and with such volatility and skill being evenly distributed, it is fast becoming anyone's game. Just look at the 70s and 80s, you had a bunch of hilbillies in some teams, now you have professionals everywhere.
