Thumbs up New Tutorial Videos on Java from Youtuber TylerTheCoder

Definitely take a look, he doesn't just go over what to write and what it does. Very interesting so far!

Let me know if this belongs in a different section.

edit: Haha I messed up his name in the thread title. Sorry folks.

    Cheers for sharing.

I personally learned all I know about programming by jumping into an IDE and messing about until I got it to do what I wanted! It was only after that I was able to appreciate the more academic side of things.

Cool videos! I've watched them all to date

I know you mean well OP and more power to you for contributing to the forum.

Having said that, these are truly garbage. You are honestly much better off learning from the official tutorial here. It is broken up into several courses.

People learn differently; sometimes people need a different resource to trigger that "eureka moment".

I really think it is a solid resource, maybe not the best.

I do mean well and thank you for the resource! I just find the Youtuber interesting to listen to, which helps during the learning process for beginners like myself.
