Title says it all. I thought that acc was invincible. Just a warning to you people out there, don't bot fire runes right now. It might seem super lucrative, but they'll get you. This account didn't actually RC fire runes until very recently, so I'm pretty sure that's why it got caught.

They're like 178-180 each right now. Without familiars, I was getting 2.1m an hour with just Tokkul-zo and Dueling Rings. The rates are ridiculous with wicked hood teleports and high level summons.

Yeah, with the release of invention, a bunch of dead content has had new life, reaching 10m/hr+ for some things previously less than 500k/hr. Pretty awesome for us!

Sorry for the loss man. Do you think you were seen and reported? A lot of people on Reddit publicized the fire runes method recently.

Hmm. I guess other runecrafters might have seen me at the altar, but I don't think I ever saw anyone at the bank. I'm pretty sure it's just the area that's watched heavily. I used a f2p acc to test the gp/hr for throwaway accounts, and it literally got banned in three minutes.

got banned in about 10 minutes LOL

It's actually a bit concerning how fast they detect. Makes me want to fire up another bot detection discussion, since the antiban on my scripts is similar to ones I've used in the past that haven't had bans.

I don't want to make any wild assumptions, but all I can say is after having almost a lot of accounts banned using various scripts ( all same template I made ), anti-ban does little to prevent bans.
what I DID change ( still stress-testing ) from all those scripts was one function, and so far i've had no bans.

again, until I have finite evidence I won't say anything so don't hold me on that.

concerning the fire altar though, Yeah I was a bit surprised at how fast I got banned..
didn't even use the function that supposedly got all my accounts banned in the script
going to test tomorrow after I make some money to buy pure ess haha

Edit: we'll that was stupid just took a minute and rethink that.. There's only mouse and keyboard and after looking through some of those posts more thoroughly it sounds about right

I never really like to bot in places that are publicized on Reddit and have lots of player awareness. As we can see, Jagex takes active steps to ban when botting is brought to their attention.

Otherwise, they don't do much.

Pretty much this, whenever the community points something out and it's at risk of giving Jagex bad rep, they'll turn on BotWatch\crank up the sensitivity in that specific area or do some sort of damage control like a bot busting stream. I hear about a ton of these RC bots being banned, yet i'm running 6 accounts at wines 24/7 with no movements and the exact same pattern with basically no issues.
