    computer becoming laggy..

    why is it that after a few hours of autoing my comp starts to become very laggy and rs freezes? i must perform a hard reboot for it start working well again

    Chances are, you don't have enough ram

    Either quit some running applications (chat, etc), increase Windows' virtual memory, or buy more ram

    Probably a bad virus or something lagging it down.. go CTRL + alt + delete and go to processes if you are a geek like me on a pc you will know what most processes are for. if you are not sure don't do it, as you may mess up your computer.

    Also try defragging. START -> PROGRAMS -> ACCESSORIES -> SYSTEM TOOLS

    i ran a sweep with spysweeper and turned out i had a few trojans on my comp..running much more smoothly now!!! ironically i had been exiting spy sweeper because i thought it was slowing my comp down...
