    Ban message:
    Account banned for macroing in RuneScape. Our macro detection system has been monitoring your account closely and has detected that you are using illegal 3rd party software which violates the rules of the game and breaches your terms of service with Jagex. Our team have reviewed the evidence and can confirm that you were using illegal botting software. Stop botting or use better scripts & ditch SMART.

    Has SMART resulted in noticeably faster bans in your experience?

    On OSRS yeah. Using same script I haven't been banned while on VM, but twice with SMART. Probably not enough statistics to go on, but meh.

    It loads the java applet in a "sandbox" so it doesnt use your mouse and you can run multiple instances. It's easily detectable and is probably being detected.

    Yes. There are methods to bypass this though such as running the game in a Virtual Machine that basically will run another miniscule operative system which lets you run SMART independent scripts on the real client, without taking up your own mouse. Most scripts should work except for those that are Reflection based (reads off java fields from the client).

    In order to identify which scripts you can use on the official client you can use this as a rule of thumb. If it contains
    Simba Code:
    {$I Reflection/Reflection.simba}
    somewhere on the top of the script, it only works with SMART.

    Was told by acow about this too. I'm thinking about creating some for RS3, but I know there are some problems with running SMART while having the screen locked or having your windows account locked. Would the official client + a script work with RS3?
