    Smile Happy to be back

Hello all ! I haven't been to villavu for years, i used to spend a lot of time on the forums when i was a young buck and teaching myself how to script. I was here back when there was no rs3 and S.M.A.R.T was a new thing.

My old account was insanomano, i cant for the life of me remember the login info unfortunately, either way I made a new account and am happy to be back and to fill my free time with writing scripts for good ol' runescape.

On that note, I'm currently up to date with Aerolib but I haven't been able to find the old srl library for osrs, is it still functional? the reason I ask is because I was quite familiar with all the old functions and I've been attempting to script with Aero but it's a slow process.

Anyways, it's good to see the old community running strong, I was just a kid back when I was active on here,

    Cheers

    - Insanomano

    Welcome back, insanomano.

Your topic is not my forte, however, here is where the old SRL-5 includes reside: https://github.com/SRL/SRL-5

If you use that, you are pretty much on your own. The library is not maintained. There maybe some people in the community that use these includes and modify them themselves, but they keep it pretty quiet.

    Also, you can look here:

    https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117079 Thread: [SRL6/RS3][AL/OSRS] SRL Essence Miner v5 - Hybrid 10-year anniversary edition

Pay particular attention to the part in the source code that says:

    Quote:
// Yes, you read that right. This script includes both an SRL-5 to SRL-6 layer
// and a SRL-6 to SRL-5 layer. Lots of fun aye?

You didn't say whether you wish to concentrate on RS3 or Old School Runescape. That would help to narrow down the universe.

In any event, if you want to read something while you have some free time, this is probably the best set of tutorials to get you started:

You can also look into Aerolib and reflection.
