Default Hardware Prices in North America vs Europe

After seeing the difference in prices between hardware in the states vs european countries like spain france and italy, I'm slightly disgusted. I feel as if a $600 rig costs around a thousand euro here. Thankfully I've never purchased hardware in europe, but watching my friends shell out all that extra dough for their PC's makes me think its better to visit and shop....

Does anywhere have prices as low as NA? It's pretty much the same in Japan. It would be cheaper for me to transfer money to the States, buy a computer online, and pay the ridiculous import fees than it would be to buy the same computer here.

I know I once bought a graphics card from Germany for 325 euro, here in Belgium where I live I would've paid close to 500 euro for it. Some countries have really high hardware prices.

Don't forget VAT as they're not always included on first sight in the US.
I also thought VAT varies between states.

The states have a sales tax, which is pretty much VAT. Its around 5-10% depending on the state (in my area its usually 5-6) New Hampshire is badass so they don't have sales tax.

    Still alot lower than 22%

iPhone tourism was something people in Brazil and Venezuela (I think) were practicing a while ago. Typically they would buy a couple to sell when they got back. It's probably cost effective if you ever want to do it with computer hardware.

Germany is probably cheapest place to buy computer hardware. If you live in europe.
Myself buy some stuff from: https://www.computeruniverse.net/

Oddly enough pc hardware is slightly more expensive here where I live than germany.
    https://www.computeruniverse.net/pro...zen-5-1600.asp 251 in germany.
    http://www.1a.ee/arvutikomponendid_v..._yd1600bbaebox local 260.

People wages are much smaller. Ratio vs wages/pc stuff is odd
Now if ya look at wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...y_average_wage

So % how much people would have to pay from they living money to buy ryzen:
    Here(Est) 250/945*100=26%
    Germany 250/2200*100=11%
In ukraine computer hardware buys you

    Europe vs north america prices:
    https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-435-_-Product aprox 210eur

Only one state has ever had a form of VAT. Most states have sales tax though.

I mean I'm thankful I don't have to deal with the Australian pricing but the prices in Canada are crap compared to the US considering the CAD > USD ratio right now is 1:0.74................

Yes, usually if you buy anything from the farthest center of manufacturing place, then it will be costly for you. So better you get from warehouse lol
