    Question What version of java to use for smart?

    IM having issues using smart it was working but stopped all of a sudden.

    So i unistalled all java versions, what java/jdk should i use.

    I read 32 bit is what you need?

    Also which one do i use?

    I use the latest version, 32 bit, And make sure your java path is set correctly, You shouldn't have any issues.

    Yea I seem to be getting white screens too...

    People usually get this fixed by completely uninstalling simba and java, then reinstalling.

    @tls; From experience I haven't had to reinstall Java, just Simba. At one point it got to the point where Smart would stop almost daily, so it became a habit for me to do a quick 20 sec reinstallation of Simba

    NOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO STUMBLE UPON THIS ISSUE:

    if you do in fact reinstall Java, as per @tls; advice. It has to be 32 bit. 64-bit won't cut it and it will refuse to launch smart. This is most likely the source of your problem, so DO NOT just reinstall Java and put some random 64 bit version on it.

    Thank you, thank you a million times thank you, I was going insane trying to figure out why it would not work.

    Also make sure your SMART and plugins are up to date. That can cause issues similar to an outdated Java in my experience.
