    Default A Plan for Jagex

I'm definite that there are at least a few Jagex staff members who lurk here daily, scratching their heads, trying to figure out how to stop macroing by looking at these SRL scripts.

Well, I have found a solution for all of you. And it doesn't involve looking at a single piece of SRL code and breaking their TOS. Now you can be guilt free as well.

    What you do is:

    1. Remove all color from the game. If you do this, we won't know what the hell to click on. Forget shadows too, because shading is only a bit harder than colors.

    2. Stop all navigation with the mouse. You can only move around with the keyboard, and you can't use skills either.

I need to go now, but I'll keep this updated.
I guess the holidays are over - no sig for now.

*GASP* This...this is.. pure GENIUS! WOW! An actual laugh out loud.

    Anyways, to continue:

    3. If everything was reduced to mere 1x1 and 2x2 pixels.

    4. No minimap, no camera angle change, no main screen. Basically, a text game.

    5. Delete the accounts database, then have an extremely private selection.

    6. Increase f2p fees to $50 a month, and p2p to $100. Lots of money here.

    More to come later.
I guess the holidays are over - no sig for now.

Ah f2p wouldn't be f2p anymore now would it?

I wouldnt be sarcastic. They can put a hurting to us if they want to. They moved stuff one pixel last update I think as a wink our way.

What happens when they they start moving things every week? Gonna sting just a little bit.

Nielsie and I were contemplating how to combat screen shifting...we came to the conclusion that it'd slow us down a tad (few ms or so), but it wouldn't be overly hard....

I don't think it'd be impossible to overcome. And I don't think they'll come after us too soon. . .

Change too many things too quickly, and you lose many players. Imagine if they changed the main UI, the combat system, and the xp system all in one week. Imagine the retarded people posting "lol i cant find anything" in the forums.

Not just the little ones, but the average RS player is pretty stupid.

Rofl that wouldn't stop most autoers (it would stop us). All the Java bots/Packet Editing bots would still work if they were updated to the new engine.

And it wouldn't be very hard to auto-update when they change a few pixels. It would slow down SRL like smartz said, but you can use bitmaps to spot certain skill spots to find the text, search for text for pixel changing, guess-and-check for chatbox.. etc.

Fine then. Block all outside connections, and let Jagex staff play by themselves.

Eh. Yeah, I guess the average player is pretty stupid. Probably why it used to be so easy to scam them all. . .that was the only thing I ever did on that game.
