I believe Sass, it's just advertising. Btw, who would need such internet? 2mbps is fast enough... Without server lagg and bussy objects you could get 2 seasons of film worth 15 gig in about 2 hours, which means it finished while you watch the first 4 or 2 episodes. One episode will be downloaded in about 2.8 minutes, double for episodes of an hour each... What's the wait? So 1 gig per second with server lagg and bussy object should give you about the same result. 40gig and a monthly bill of €200,000 according to current prices for 2mbs. NO THANK YOU!

Right, but your hard drive will write it into your disk for 1 minute, so 10mbps internet connection would do the exactly same trick.

I like my cable internet at 3mbs a second. Know why? It costs me nothing. I didnt have the money to pay one month because I was switching jobs. I had them come disconnect till I got more money and guess what. They unhooked an old cable wire that used to run to the house that wasnt even used anymore. When I got it rehooked up when I bought the house they put in a new underground wire which the cable guys failed to disconnect. Thank them for hiring morons.

Basicly, Trying to use that powerful internet to its fullest capabilities which meaning downloading a file at 40 gigs per second would totally fry your hard drive.
1. The hard drive disk that contains the data would prolly melt from trying to spin so fast.

2. The hard drive disk hand that writes the data to the disk would prolly malfunction and just stop moving all together.

3. Then the hard drive would probably just stop moving and then melt.

4. Overall the fastest hard drive i know which is the raptor 78 gig i believe cannot do that and it spins at an amazing 10,000 RPMs compared to most average hard drives which spin at 7200. Im sure there are hard drives faster then 10k rpms (SCSI) i belive but those cannot handle it either.

A harddrive can only write so much data onto the hardrive per second, if you had the fastest internet connection in the world and were downloading lots of files your hardrive would fry because it would be used more...
