6 posts straight? You can add procedure what checks axe's uptext if script finds uptext broken then your axe is broken

I tried running the script. It log me in, finds the right tree, cuts one time, the stops running saying my axe is broken. My axe is not broken and according to earlier posts can't break anymore. Is there a way to disable the axe check?

Removed all references to axe check and seems to be working fine. Got random event box and script stopped, so I think it needs randoms added in.

randoms are added in you either have to get the new box.scar from winterdream or need to write in your nickname i added the neew version 1.7.1 and is now hopefully fixed

I'm running DIVI and downloaded all the updates (through DIVI) this is my first time running on DIVI though so I might need something else. But it doesn't work for any randoms for me. It didn't do anything with the box, it didn't talk to Rick Turpintine, and it didn't do anything with the camo guy either.

Is there setting where maybe I turned randoms off? I left the auto-talker off which is how it was set when I downloaded it. Could this be effecting the randoms?

Been using the script for about 2 hours now though and it is working with a little babysitting.

Suggestion though. Instead of stopping the script if no tree is found you might want to make it wait for a few seconds and look again. I had to make a change because it kept stopping because I had chopped down all the nearby trees and they hadn't come back yet.

Please don't think me ungrateful though. I very much appreciate your script. I am still trying to find the time to write my own so anybody that posts a script on here has my gratitude. Thanks

Thank you for your feedback. The reason why you arent catching the randoms is because you might of set your nick wrong. It most be 2-3 letters of your name that arent capital. also i fixed it and made it wait before it checks tree it will be V1.8. Also, please do post your proggys and bugs. (iam only 12)

Well the randoms don't have to do with the "nick" I do have that set. 3 letters not caps. It did the drunken dwarf random fine. But the others it hasn't worked on. Oh yeah it did do very good on ent detection too. So far with running 5 characters over the past several hours I've managed to complete about 12 loads each. Everything seems to be good except for the randoms.

Very good effort, see if you can get any feedback from anyone else on the randoms, I would love to know if it's just me.

Ahem Proggy? thats your part also nicks do matter because it makes bitmapmask of hte letters you put in and if it sees it on screen then it reacts to the random thats saying your name.

I wasn't trying to say that they don't matter I meant that they are set correctly. I tried switching from 3 letters down to 2 but it still doesn't catch the randoms. Can't give an official progress report because I am always forced to stop the script in order to deal with the randoms. The most I have ever got is 3 loads in 12 min as a succesful completion.

Well according to Burt there is a new special srl for the box. I just did the standard DIVI update process so if it's not included there that might be the reason for the box. Rick though I don't know what the deal is. The other randoms I got were more obscure so I don't expect them to work. Like the Camo guy and the one where you have to run and hit the blinking lights.

Best run with out being stopped by a random did 3 characters and twelve loads. Had to stop the script during the 3rd character for a random.

Is there a hot key to pause the script instead of stop it?

I'll try the script again later today and see if I can give a full progress report with the script completing. If I do ctrl + alt + a to pause the script for randoms and then resume it it should work.

Either way in a matter of about 4 to 5 hours I got 5 characters up from level levels between 5 & 7 to level 30. So I still say they script is pretty good just need the randoms to work. I could edit in a different scripts randoms I guess but this script has pretty much served it's purpose for me now I'll be trying out a script with a banker feature. I will test this some more today though to let you know it's progress.

OK here's my official progress report.

    ^>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>
    ^ Burts Tree Muncher
    ^ Version: 1.7
    ^ Log Type Oak.
    ^ Logs cut 700.
    ^ Loads done 25.
^ Worked For 2 Hours, 4 Minutes and 59 Seconds
    ^>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>

    Randoms:

Security Guy - Talked to and passed
Drunken Dwarf - Talked to and passed
Wise Old Man - Did nothing, failed
Rick Turpintine - Did nothing, failed
Sandwich Lady - Did nothing, failed
Giles - Talked to and logged out (no trees near by) screen was covered with question
Camo Guy - Did nothing, failed

Ent Detection - 75% stopped for 3 out of 4

Summary not a bad script as long as you are babysitting it for randoms.

    Thanks for your work Burt.
