    Default I'm about to lose it-Scar/SRL Install Problems

    Okay, please don't flame, I'm new to this.

    I can't download scar 2.03 + srl 3.7 or something

    when i download it, go through the setup, it says "cannot execute the file, CreatProcess failed; code 5 Access is denied"

    Please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Somebody had the same problem as yours.

    Maybe your antivirus?

    If everything fails try installing 3.11?

    Use Divi 3.11 and download SRL 3.81 from that...

    I'm almost positive that Code 5 access error means that you aren't an administrator.. I got that error A LOT the past school year...

    It doesn't. AVG hates SCAR.

    If you aren't an admin, use an admin account.

    Shutdown avg (including all the process's like resident shield it leaves behind when you quit it).

    The process's I have from avg which are left behind after avg is closed are avgupvc.exe and avgamsvr.exe

    You can go into the processes tab on task manager and end these yourself.

    Then in theory installing 2.03 should be fine.

    I got that in vista when I was helping a friend with his computer I was installing a different type of software
