    Default Noob To Noob Mentoring!

    Noob To Noob Mentoring!!

Hey there. I believe users of SCAR and SRL should have the opportunity to learn pascal. I learned an AMAZING amount from Iloveit8, who created a similar scheme. Now I feel I am at a good enough level to teach new comers the basics of SCAR and SRL and help them along the way to creating their first simple script. The whole point of this system would be users like myself (Not overly experienced) could help newcomers on their way.

    Mentors:
If you would like to become a mentor and give a helping hand please reply to the following criteria.

How long have you been scripting?
Why do you want to help?
What do you plan to teach?

    Learners:

    Why should you be taught?
    What inspires you to script?
Who would you like as a mentor?

Please remember this is a Noob to Noob service.. If you are advanced and would still like to give a helping hand then that's fine!!!

If this doesn't take off.. I'll still be around to help you out just PM me with your contact details and I'll add you on MSN.

Note: I give full credits to this idea to Iloveit8.

How long have you been scripting? Quiet a long time. Can program delphi very confidently.
Why do you want to help? Give more back to the community.
What do you plan to teach? Delphi to be honest. Scripting aswell, but I'd prefer delphi.

    Not to be rude but:
I think that this would be a lot more effective if you had each teacher teach a certain part of scripting. I understand that some things need to to be taught together and would not make sense if taught apart, but other things like: Radial Walking, DTMs and DDTMs, Bitmaps, etc. Then you wouldn't have one teacher teaching everything to their student, yet being shaky on a certain area such as walking (which is why there arent any tutorials that go over everything thouroughly). So if you have someone who knows a certain area very well then they will teach that area. Then everyone will be given the same education, an education that will turn out to be fuller than the way you are trying to use.

Ok, I might be a little late on posting this but here goes:
How long have you been scripting?
4 years, give or take. I hacked MapleStory and Flyff a while back, which required some basic actionscript and hex editing. then, I dipped into au3, which is a BASIC based language. Then my friend got me into RS and I hated it. So I started autoing.
Why do you want to help?
'cause I'm bored like crazy. I could probably think of some deep and/or thoughtful meaning, but I'm toooooo tired.
What do you plan to teach?
Anything I can (lol) or anything the pupil (if thats the right word XD) wants to learn. Except for forms. I hate forms and feel that they are useless.
And btw, I won't be available 'till Monday, kayaking trip XD

sorry for the gravedig but RAM linked to this thread.

I am looking for help with beginning SCAR
ive read most of the beginners tutorials, but i am not at the point where i can make a script yet, (besides a simple autotalker)

    Why should you be taught?
i know it sounds cliche, but i would like to give back to the community.

    What inspires you to script?
I want to learn some basic programming, and i want to learn how to make a useful script for runescape.

Who would you like as a mentor?
Anyone who knows enough to teach me things correctly.
