Um, SS just uses frames. It still runs RS from w.runescape.com. Same thing with miniclip. SwiftSwitch is basicly a web-browser without an adress bar, but with rs tools/links built in.
    No room for thoughts.

The beauty of web clients... it's the exact same as loading in your typical browser.
http://cruels.net for your macro programming needs.
CruelLib: library enabling programmer to use SCAR-like functions in their app. (incomplete, but still useful)

except you dont have the typical "popup every 5 seconds.. holy shit i fucking hate IE" shit that comes with typical browsers

PS.. i dont consider firefox a typical browser cuz it's got way more features than a typical browser

Hah... Then you have some crap to remove on your comp...
There's a mozilla control ppl can use in their web clients. I was gonna put it in a web client, but it sucks... so I just stick with IE

You just get the HTML source from the RS highscore pages and pull out all the data you need.
Here's a PHP example (should still work I think)... there are several in other languages as well.. just have to search.
    Zezima's stats:
[Rank] - [Level] - [XP]... separated with "|" bars

Cruels, I believe SRL has problems while logging in while using IE. Firefox and or the actual RS client work great though.

Aryan was written in java, we decompiled there client, edited it, compiled it and ran it. In other words we've broken there terms and conditions and some rules. ALL SS dose is connect to the runescape.com and load the pages for you, in NO way dose it modify the client.

SS is a custom webbrowser(in other words, it's internet explorer/firefox/opera/netscape/whatever) but only allows loading of runescape. Ooh, what are jagex going to do? Ban us for using a web browser? HA!

When I used swiftswitch I read the updates etc. Since so many people use it Jagex allowed it as long as the free worlds still loaded the ads.

"but only allows loading of runescape"
Not true , it just has runescape links. Its just a web-browser without an adress bar. Im typing this post from swiftswitch. Even on the news page of the client theres a link to google (the ads at the bottom). Google can then be used to acsess any site by typing a url.
    No room for thoughts.

Yeah, what I meant was you couldn't go to google on it, afaik the only things you can load are runescape based.
