Yeah, so I can run at least 3 instances of HL2. HL2 isn't that amazing if you just have it sitting at menu like I am guessing yours is.

If you really want to load your computer, get Peazip (theres a tut somewhere) and compress like a 5 gig file on compression level 8. I say your computer can't handle it and gives you a memory error.

Not bad though, but not the greatest. What is it? An off the shelf?

    yea, specs, pl0x.

Well, tons of windows doesn't exactly mean that ur computer is great. Now, playing half-life @ 60fps, that's great

    Btw, I hate vista... lol

Vista degrades the computer by 90% so you better produce some impressive ones

Edit: How much did it cost? Did you build it?

    You mean 8800GTS, not GTX?

stupid vista, stupid microsoft, they even made halo2 for the vista so people would buy their crappy windows.
What would we do if we didnt have people uploading torrents with halo for the xp! wed need supercomputers to get those kinda specs
Ive played hl2 on a good computer i owned half way around the world, i really liked that game *sigh* i cant play it no more

holy crap that must have cost a lot!!!1

Mr.Klean, your waffles are on fire!

Yeah, so I can run at least 3 instances of HL2
    Hmm,
I say your computer can't handle it and gives you a memory error.
Since you know errors so good, what about the one when you try to use 3 instances of steam same time? And I'm pretty sure that you're not playing 3 half-lifes same time.

Wanna admit that you're a bad, bad cook? (hint to waffles)

    EDIT:
amd pwns intel like Michel Jackson does a little boy.
    lmao

    EDIT: lmao
I meant my specs compared to what the HL2.exe process is taking up on his computer.

See his specs are saying HL2 takes 350,000k of RAM. With my computer I can run around 3 instances sitting at menu because it doesn't take much CPU power. I am not saying its possible to run HL2 in 3 instances but I am saying just what HL2 takes in resources I can run 3 of them.

EDIT: You should of got the BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC2 instead of the 8800 GTS just because I want to see what it can run. 768mb GDDR3, wow. And then you should of ran two of them SLI, I think I would pass out from the greatness.

    Don't you play ub3r 1337 games???

Nah, but its amazingly expensive to buy it from a retailer. Making a great computer is better if you mkae it yourself.

Sure sounds like a nice pc, though I think you should have gone with watercooling.

PS: What brand RAM, and how much was the mobo?
