    Default MFS - Learn to Script!

    MFS - My First Script

    Description : It will teach you the basics of scripting and help you make your choice of your first powerminer or powerchopper.

    Current Version : 1.1

    Instructions on use







    Fill in required forms. Above is an example.

    Make Sure you have a color selected before clicking update.

    To Use:
    • Download and Start Script.
    • Choose a Script Type
    • Choose Easy, Medium, or Difficult
    • Put the tolerance in the tolerance box.
    • Check or uncheck FindFastRandoms.
    • You can Learn about scripting on the learn page.
    To Create A Script:
    • Click on the Script Tools Tab
    • Add to the Colors List by Clicking Add.
    • Select/Highlight the color you wish to use.
    • Fill in the script name and your name.
    • Click update.
    • Click Print for it to print the function in your SCAR's report box or click copy to copy the script to your clipboard.
    • Open a New SCAR Window or Tab and paste it.
    • Have FUN!
    V 1.1 Updates :
    • Failsafes have been added for people who got the "out of bounds Index (-1)" exception. It now asks you to select a color.
    • Radialwalking, MultiColoring and th SRL Player arrya have been added to the tutorial.
    • Added TTimer (not functional yet)
    • Added 2 bitmaps ( for Radialwalking help )


    For Record's Sake:
    MFS 1.0 has been downloaded 31 times.

    Looks neat, I'll test it out right away.

    Edit: Whenever i try to hit the button 'Update', I get this error: "List index out of bounds (-1)"

    this is very sexy and bad @$$ =P

    it will be very helpful to teach people who are new to scar learn how to script and create their first script

    lol alright.. and i dont know if i would call this "writing your first script" its more of "picking your first color"

    either way its a good peice of script.

    are you planning on adding more in the way of tutorial on the main part?

    Well, it is laying out your first script. When I update again, it will include comments on each line. Anyways it helps them understand the concept of their first script. And whenever you make a script that works, it saves you the trouble of going through that first script where you have trouble like line. That way you feel accomplished and learn faster + have a working script.

    cool, well i like it. and, good luck with the rest of the tutorial part.. on tip, add what Break; and Exit; do.. because i could never find it in any other tutorial..

    I get duplicate identifier (the x and the y). I know what the error is, but I don't want to go and f- anything up. And I'm too lazy to go through the script and change x's to x1 and stuff like that.

    No, you still have SRL 3.81. Just take X and y out of the variables at the top.
