    Default Today in iT class

Today in iT class we had a test which our stupid teacher had uploaded to the school site, well of course i downloaded it and got a 10 (A+).

Then my wannabee computer nerd class mate got a task to design the school website guess what he said: Cant i make it in freewebs! i laughed my ass of! The teacher just said: nono lets learn HTML.

Well when the class ended i asked the teacher: Do u know any html? then he simply answered 'no'.
I was like okay.. Then i said well i know pretty much then he was like 'o really teach me'. Then i laughed my ass of even more 'a student teach a teacher' >_<?!?!?!

    DISCUSS ..

This happened 30 mins ago and im still laughing!

Teachers don't know everything you know, lol.

A science teachers doesn't know everything about physics, biology and chemistry. A Biology teachers doesn't even know everything about biology.

People are always learning, you have to remember that. Teachers took their courses a long time ago, and since then many new developments in the world have occurred (OK, maybe HMTL is not one of them, but you get what i mean). I've taught my teachers a thing or 2, my mates have taught their teachers a thing or 2, and my teachers have taught us a thing or 2. Its just how it goes

I understand that but if he is an IT teacher and he is teaching html then he should know a fair bit of it.

Even though this is after a BIG BUMP, I thought I'd say, my computer teacher is about the most unfit teacher on the planet. He doesn't know what a DLL is (he asked me to open it to see what it said...), he didn't know what Firefox was, and he didn't know what javascript was.

    Lol Open a DLL.

My computer teacher doesn't understand what a FTP site is.
We are supposed to back up our class documents, and he asked me what I was doing. I replied that I was backing them up. He said he didn't see a jumpdrive. I said yes, I am backing them up to a FTP Site. He didn't know what a ftp site was, and said he would have to check with the Technical Director to see if they give viruses.

    ^^ LOL

I use a ftp site as I run my own FTP server on my computer, and have access to all my documents on my comp anywhre I have internet access. Online file repository, but local at home

This is not a dumb teacher either. He knows basically everything about Adobe Photoshop.
