    Default Pascal Compiler?

Hey does anyone have some suggestions on a good pascal compiler (yes I know SCAR is basically Pascal but I'm looking for one ment for Pascal itself).
My infotech teacher suggested Borland Turbo Pascal 7.0 but I don't feel like paying 40 pounds for it. So does anyone have a link to a trail or free download for 7.0 or any suggestions for something different all together?

If you do please post here, pm or add my msn ( chris.hobbs@hotmail.com )

    Thanks,
    Hobbit

There's a pascal compiler too, but turbo delphi seems better though

Depends, if your going to make GUI's and stuff, you should use Delphi. But pascal is alright for console programs..

Read more carefully. Thats why I asked for a link to a trail? Hmmm.. lol
It doesnt give you like a 30 day trial and then enter a key you have to purchase before you can download. If they let u have a trail then I could get a key and I wouldn't be posting this now would I?

And yes Masta after I do some stuff in pascal I'm planning to learn Delphi cause Pascal, Delphi and Scar are all somewhat similar

Actually, *none* of the "turbo"'s or "explorer"'s I have seen are free, the DL is, but not the usage.

Blood Shed's Dev-Pascal is actually based on the one here: http://www.freepascal.org , *alsmost* like how many Java IDEs are based on Eclipse.
