    Default slight errors with script

Ok. I fount this flax spinning script. It pretty much works after I fixed some errors in it since its original release. The only problem is that after 30 minutes or so, it says:

    Error detecting Compass Angle.
    Did not find bank
Did not find flax in bank ... logging out
When I log back in to see where I am at, just to make sure it wasnt a random, my guy is just standing there at the spinning wheel in lumby bank with all the flax spun.

Now I am running my resolution at 24bit. Could that be my problem? I currently dont have a video card as it had died recently so I cant change it to 32bit true color.

Oh by the way, I did not make the script. I just read enough about scripting to fix the couple of errors it had.

could be many reasons.. could you possibly post the script so we can check it out? then i bet some could probably help you I'm sure. But thats a really weird problem. maybe the colours change or it cant find something.

I have had a good bit of experience in basic programming language and from what i have read about scar and from what i see in the script I dont really see any thing that would do that. I have had the script running for 1 hour + one time. Since then it barely runs for 20-30 mins.

Now I'm not a scripter as far as scar is concerned so please no flamming me if the script is badly written.

Just so you know I removed all the calls to a function called makescreenperfect since it always failed and just added makecompass south command in place of it. The function defaulted to that anyways and it always failed and did that anyways so I just skipped it. And the chooseoption functions have changed since this script was released. He was passing ChooseOption(Ix, Ix, 'own'). And it kept telling me too many params. So I removed the variables and left the text in the single quotes.

The tolerance was set at 150 and I heard that was too high and not necessary so i changed it to 25. Maybe this might another reason why im having trouble with it?

Please learn to use the edit button rather than double posting....NEVER post scripts that aren't yours without the Author's permission...

This section is to help people writing their own scripts, not to fix other people's....

Please consult the post where you originally found this script, or contact the original Author.

Or you could read some tutorials and learn to make your own script...

    Good Luck,

    ~RAM
