How hard/easy is it to convert scripts?

    Hey,
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but i was wondering on the complexities of converting a script from a previous version of SRL to the newest....as i have several scripts that i are not being re-written and i wondered if it would be worth a n00b trying it himself

    I see...
Well I've never programmed in Scar before so how would you reccomend I start ?
I have a basic understanding of other languages such as C++ , PHP and a tiny bit of pearl. Will this be of use ?
    Thanks in advance.

Hmm...I recommend trying to use SRL and its basic functions first...it won't be too hard since you already have experience in other languages. After a while, you can check in the SRL Manual for functions that replace other functions in old scripts...

    Its very easy.
Usually its just one to two procedures that need to be adjusted.
Just Compile > Locate Error > Use the search button on the forums.
It should work most of the time
