I get what he is saying I got scar cause i found while screwin around but unfortunately it didnt have any scripts with it. Now I have to wait. I really just like to screw around but the grind is no fun (got to be 20th character keep forgettin passwords and names). I use to play warcaraft so i know th epain of the grind and gliders to make it so fun is actuallty possible rather than keep redoing stuff.

how ever a lot of valid points had been made, and i agree with the comments to do with the community and making some effort to participate.
7 days may seem like a long time but its long enough to browse and try making your own script rather than frittering at the PC trying to look for a decent script someone else has put LOADS of time and effort into.
Also you have a chance to get to know people and they may be the key to that very special 'tool' you were looking for.

oh and it helps to read through the forums rather than just look for that one script, you can find some pretty interesting stuff if you bother

Leeching in general is just bad. The hope is though, that maybe one day you will give back to the community. Think of it like Bit Torrent, you leech and then you seed, and if you don't seed you're gay

ill try make this into a simple analogy.

Say you have a fat baker that bakes cookies.
and a fat shit who likes to eat cookies.
now...
The fat baker bakes the cookies, right? - and the fat shit eats them..
simple enough.
now lets say the fat shit has some friends who are also fat shits.
he invites those fat shits to eat more of the fat bakers cookies, and they do..
THEN - those fat shits invite more of their fat shit friends and so on.
Eventually the bakery is swarming with fat shits.
Now, the baker is overwhelmed and can't produce enough cookies for his fat shit friends who like to eat all his cookies and all his fat shit 'friends' are too lazy to bother helping him so they can all have a share of the cookies without hassle.
Eventually the fat baker dies, and then his fat shit friends die off because they have no cookies to eat. (see where i'm getting at?)

Seeder = Fat baker.
Leech = Fat shits.
Too many leeches = Very Very slow production and variety.
Loads of seeders = Opposite and everyone's happy.

Ok, I tell you why.
Most people here only script for fun! It may sound a bit strange to you, but scripting can be fun
But, everybody wants to have good scripts. The only way to get good scripts is to get feedback, like progress reports, bug reports or some other kind of constructive criticism.
Why we don't like leechers is this: Imagine you're a scripter. You made an awesome script. And then 200 people leech it, say: fuck you it does not work 100% and they leave. Would that be nice? Would you like such a thing? It doesn't help you making the script better, and you don't know who's using the script.
We can agree most/all scripters are against leeching for a few reasons.
1. It only helps the destroying of RS,
2. The script won't become better. You don't know what's wrong with the script, so you can't fix it.
There are a few other reasons, but I can't think of em ATM.

Scripters do not release scripts because they would enjoy other people getting yellow pixels, instead so that they could see how well did they succeed, and to get feedback so they can improve their code, skills and get more knowledge from comments of better scripters.

Do you even know how small price a week, 400 hits of KeyBoard is for a month, 32000 hits of keyboard?

You always need to pay, even if the price was to do a small arm movement to stab and rob a stranger.

Do you rather get pissed, make a really immature post just to embarrass yourself or wait exited for that week, and then get collecting scripts and get millions of gps?

Its easy to see through people like you, you wake up, go to school, get from school, open computer and google "RuneScape hack macro bot cheat", surf through tens, maybe even hundreds of websites to get something for totally free with nothing to even guarantee the quality, or nothing to guarantee its virus free.

I have a question for you, was all the time you spent to find something (if you did) more worth than a week you could've just chill out, not be a slave of google, and then get something that definetly works.

It is against the copyright laws, rules are to protect you from your own self.

Spreading a script without author's permission is the same thing as you would upload a song in a p2p net, you can be sued for that too.
