    SCAR will not change. It is a colour-clicker, and will stay a colour-clicker. That fact in itself is what makes SCAR more useful than the other bots, because it can work with other programs. You try getting iBot to work with anything else. Good luck.

    Although, if you notice with SCAR that if you minimize runescape after using the crosshair, the mouse coordinates go crazy, with like -10000,-10000 (which means the runescape client moved to the bottom right) So, if you were to be able to get the image from there (provided the client still actively draws it) then you could probably get colours from it. It's still a bit of a tradeoff though, since you can't possibly use a mouse or keyboard with it. That's as far as I went when i thought about it.

    Yeah, but then you could incorporate a silent mouse and such.. again, I say it is plausible, but won't happen, at least for now.

    I say it's completely plausible.

    I'm sure Ben has something like this, and it will eventually find its way to members, then, shortly after, nonmembers.

    I'm also sure that he wouldn't release a buggy product, so when I get it, it'd better be perfect!

    This thread has gone a lot offtopic. Basically that would ruin scripting. The minimizing might happen and the silent mouse might happen. We know it might be in developement, but some of us havn't seen it yet. Does that answer your questions?

    Theres tons of bots out there.
    We use scar because its not very detectable, open source, user friendly, still in development ect ect.
    You can use scar along with a VM to minimize it if you want. And like Rs-Monkey said, there is a plug in made that allows scar to minimize and have its own mouse, its still in testing mode right now, but it is possible with scar.
    And its not new news that people want scar to minized , everyones always wanted it, and its now possible thanks to benland.
    Just be a good boy and wait a while and you might be able to get it.
    And please keep talk here at SRL about scar, tons of people know about all of the other bots around, and its great that they exist, but at SRL we just focus on scar.

    I did use the search. Didn't find much. (Everyone always says use the search no matter what the topic even if there isnt already one...)

    Alright, I see where you are coming from.

    I was talking about scar, I just made one reference to a bot is all, so that you could understand what I was saying/asking.

    SCAR isn't open source, SRL is.

    I agree that this would be a cool idea, but I would personally rather see what the bot is doing. Even if you can see what code is there, it is possible to hide code in scar. I can show you how to do it later, but that's off topic. If you have runescape and scar running as open windows, and it starts going off track, you can easily stop scar and put it back on track, then restart it. It's harder when both runescape and scar are minimized.

    As for the hiding code:
    I have posted an example of a script that has hidden elements in it (don't worry, it only writes lines).
    All you have to do is move the code past the end of the line (this code can be seen in other programs like notepad, but not in SCAR

    yes on the minimizing of scar.

    no on the separate mouse (didnt we already discuss that???)

    no on the java code.

    no (AND I MEAN NO) on the idea of instant scripts. *make your own leechers*

    Do you know how to do it? I was guessing.

    Code:
    int main()
    {
      Noob^ TehNoob = gcnew NoobServiceProvider;

      TehNoob->Bitchslap( hard );
      return 0;
    }

    //Ouput:
    //LOL!

    P.S.: I wonder if that plugin will be open...

    SCAR stands for Sh*te Compared to AutoRune. If they make a minimizing feature, then it wouldn't really be "Sh*te" now would it? xD.

    I bet anyone who knows C++ and how to use Google could do it. I bet its something simple like this: Get a HBITMAP from the HDC, Search for colors on the HBITMAP, return the coords and push them strait to the BIOS (or whatever handles clicks).
    You can't just get an HBITMAP from a minimized window DC, when a window is not visible and especially when minimized, nothing is drawn to it's DC and even if you'd manage to force it to draw there'd still be more than enough other complications, also keep in mind that for minimized macroing you need to be able to trigger undetectable fake mouse movement events and keyboard actions...

    its especially hard because the rs client draws directly into the video buffer...

    I was guessing, but thanks for popping my bubble also .

    I think people thought it could only (easily) be done in Java was because it had a way to push events strait to the even queue, correct? You can probably do it with C++ in a much more obscure way.

    So, anyway, Is it top-uber-awesome-Chuck-Norris-Style secret on how to do it with C?
