I've noticed a feature in SCAR that is barely ever used, and that is SCAR project files. I see great potential to this, as it could result in much cleaner code and not having to use zip files, but there are some things, in my opinion, that should be changed.

1. Open in tabs instead of extracting.
This might mean separating the script files from the data files, but it would look much better if everything in the project file is presented in front of you instead of having to extract, then open it from where you extracted from. If that is too easy to do, by any chance, you could also have the reverse happen and have the ability to "update" the project when you change something in the code.
2. Keep the same format of window when creating a new project, but automatically add all open files to the project.
For example, if, in tabs, I were to have a script, as well as 4 include files in other tabs, I could just click save/new project and I would be able to save it right away! Even if the script needed a DLL to run, it would still be much easier to pack.
3. This one is a VERY long shot, only do this if time is way on your side or past, but...
Install SCAR Project files (or equivalent) as modules, then access them via a "Script Explorer"
I told you it was a long shot ! But if SCAR had an organizer or library, similar to the ones you find on modern media players, people could create a collection of scripts, and be able to access them without ever using an Open dialog. I don't really think this suggestion would really help SCAR more than hurt it's simplicity, but it was still an idea I had in the back of my head.
Well, that's my proposal. Please tell us what you think is good and bad about this, what should stay the same and should be changed, yadda yadda. I have included a poll as well. If you vote, please say why you chose it.
