Even though I'm an SRL member, I don't know how to use DTMS in regard to location tracking.. so I'm interested to hear what gets posted.
~Pancakes.
make a DTM using some of the inner parts of the building. you should consider using ddtm's.
also i forgot to mention. walking its often better to go out of the path looking for a more accurate DTM then to use an inaccurate one. if you get what i mean. for example look for "that guys" lumbridge to varrock walker (excellent script), there is a part where it goes into julias house. its not an accident when you concider the oddly shaped walkways sorounding the house. i believe he did this to take a dtm of this and make a precise pin point of his location.
Warning: dont use jpg's when loading an image to dtm editor. colors are random enough in rs.
edit: you must specify where your coming from since the borders get cut off depending on the direction your coming from.
I'm going to ignore that on the basis that you're a tool and u just recited everything everyone already knows about dtms(sorry flaming is fun 2 me: i love you anyways)

Basically make a DTM that is the room and use the center point of the Dtm to find the center... Or at least I think it will work that way...
Heres something untested...
SCAR Code:Middle := DTMFromString('78DA637CC3C8C0E001C4486041A510032B900' +
'689FE0702C617409621AA9A374F9F81699828E36520CB98809A7B' +
'4096230135B780AC005435EFDEBD43557313C88A22600EC8CD310' +
'4D47C01B2E208A86162226C0E33504D200135AC40354E04D4FC02' +
'B2CC09F8FD2B116AEE0259FAF8ED0200144F36B3');
DTMRotated(Middle, x, y, MMX1, MMY1, MMX2, MMY2)
Hope this helps you find your way or someone to enplane it to me...

Your Lovely DTM doesnt work... i cant figure out why these dtms only work half the time. THANX for trying dude![]()

Don't you mean findDTMRotated and arent you missing a parameter of the angle.DTMRotated(Middle, x, y, MMX1, MMY1, MMX2, MMY2)
if i am mistaken then please update me.
DTMRotated should work i think

Like i said try using ddtms. Oh and about working half the time use a higher tolerance. and also thats what fail safes are for, though you should make sure you script without failsafe's works. if your taking the color of the road use a function like findRoadcolor witch takes it dynamically.
the tolerance is jacked up to like 50 and it still doesnt find it sometimes, i have a fine failsafe for not using the dtm that does the exact same thing just takes 3 clicks instead of 1. and theres no road in the picture. :\
DTM TUTORIAL TIME!!! (going to read like 4 of them)

lol Meta, you don't have to make a dtm of the black part. Thats too vague.
Make points off of the walls there, and set a little tolerance.
Active only during the Summer...
DUDE! you could have done the same function with only 4 points. i'm not sure why you shouldn't use the black parts (even though they never change color) but well you shouldn't. and i have a script that banks and it never fails because of my DDTM, infact my failsafe is another DDTM.
OOOOH i got it i know why it dosent work. the first point of the dtm is always the point it returns coordinates of. thus you have a main point in the black area witch is not clickable.![]()
I know that man i compensated for that, it works good now. The black area should not be used because if u turn it sideways there are other permutations of the same DTM. i added some points of everything though now. it should click within a 4x4 box now, i have it good nowthanx for the help everyone
