Default Sharing a Modem with VMs

    What I'm using:
    -Virtual PC 2007
    -Dial-up Modem 56k
    -Main OS XP pro

    Problem:
I can't share link the 56k modem to my 2 virtual machines using dial-up. The regular network works for them, as I've ran both of them on hi-speed at a friends house. But to no avail to share dial-up connection at home.

Any tutorials or links to a fix to this would be awesome, its like killing me I can't use at home.

Well thanks for the replay Klean but I figured it out.

Had to install a Loopback Adapter to get it to work... maybe I'll make a tut.

Hmm, Loopback Adapter. Never heard of it.

Maybe its because I never have used dial-up before with anything besides just surfing the net. (I get free dial-up anywhere in the US that has ATT phone service)

I would advise making a tut because probably 1/4 of the population that has internet still has dial-up.

Yea a lot of people do still have dial-up (satellite sucks). Plus runescape is one of those games that can be played over dial-up with out any hassles with bandwidth. I've played WoW on dial-up raiding in the big 40 mans back in the day (25 mans in BC) and GOD that sucked ass. Plus had to have Teamspeak/vent so yeah it sucked hard core, had to run both of my phone lines majority of the time (100kb-ish).
