Noobpoints to jebrila for double-posting in my thread. Double noobpoints. Harhar.

And to Nontitle - what are you playing? I am starting the Appassionata and Fantasie-Impromptu.

And to LordGregGreg. Missing the thread? It doesn't matter, I haven't come back with anything spectacular for the community, and I guess we're both fading into black as of now. Gotta start working on something... You wanna do another collaborative project? (Though your skills far exceed mine?)

nah, im not working with someone who thinks I am better than them. So once you get that out of your head, we can get started . But right now, can we wait until finals are over pleasE? lol. They are comming up soon, and are going to kick my butt X.X. But yeah, I had lots of fun with the last one, and It is about to start another one. With us, execution is not the issue, it is getting a good idea to work with, so start thinking now.
Besides... fading to black sounds pretty cool... tell ya what, you fade to black, ill fade to dark red.

rigth now ive been working and paying around with java a little bit. making a metric clock. But making it fancy, http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/ja...rary/j-iframe/
    and https://jdic.dev.java.net/

so yeah, the deal behind the metric clock is that there is only one unit, the "day" which is obviously one day long. Everything else is either centidays, or millidays, etc.

The metric days sound awesome. Only thing is that the metric system can only go so far. The approximate number of 365 days has been around for quite a few milennia now, and it's been serving it's purpose well. The stupid American units should change to metric though.

And finals, eh? Good luck with those. Can't say much more about those now, can we...

We'll come up with something. And we'll need to have a collaborative workspace to work on it. (for obvious reasons).

And to arctic. Don't be stupid. There's a reason I'm on dial-up. I can fling more mud and at you, but what's the use? I advise you think before you post next time. Please. For the good of us all.

and yeah, some people even want to go to 10 day weeks. However, i think that is just kinda crazy, and basically ensures that It will not work.

All mine does is makes the day be metric. Obviously, i cant really have metric years , because like you said, the number of times the earth spins around itself before it goes around the sun is a set value that I cant change.

so unless you propose nukeing the earth a few times to throw it into a metric freindly orbit, you can stick with my little program

I just finished playing the full Fur Elise by Beethoven. In the first years we learn the first part of Fur Elise, but as time goes on, they expand on it (It's three pages long!!!). We are probably playing different things because of the regions we live in (My piano books and exams are by the Royal Conserveratory of Music - how about you?)

Also - bring back noobpoints! We should make it so if someone has enough "noob points" then their title changes to n00b or something that will discourage them from making the same mistake twice.

D 3 V 1 L: Read my posts. They explain why I am what I am. Not popular so much as infamous. And I happen to be a rare person here (even rarer, to the point of extinction, if you consider that Bebe left). If you read.

To Nontitle: That's strange, you've played 10 years? No offense, but that was one of my first pieces (to completion - I got into music school with that. And it's not a conservatory, just a test to see if I can get lessons there.) I don't do tests, but I play 7-8+ stuff now. And I've played for 2 years.

Lordgreggreg: No, I go back to school in a few days, and I have a LARGE download list. Yours gets priority.

Why would you be infamous? I thought you were cool and everything before I knew you were a girl, it was because you had popular opinions about everything. Opinions that many people can agree with. And also the fact that you are at SRL forums without playing runescape.

Also, are you sure it was the Fur Elise with 3 pages? I played the same piece when I was just beginning, except it was only one page long. Also, how old are you, because it's usually easier to learn piano when you're in around 10-16 years old. I had started at a very young age, and I probably wouldn't be that far behind if I had started later. I also am not into piano as much as I used to be because of many other things going on now. I'm even teaching piano to younger people who want to start learning it (one of them are only 5 years old, and it's only half an hour a week, but it's a start.)

So you wait until you're at school to download things? Smart - I used to do that when I had dial-up, but it really sucked a lot because so many websites were blocked, and it was quite annoying. If your school doesn't block 20 million sites, then that's a good idea.

Yes, I'm sure I played the full version of Fur Elise. With all the chords. It's not a sonata - just a one movement piece. And usually, it's the progidies that start at a younger age. I started at 15, now I'm 17. I need to catch up with all the people who started years before me. But whatever. I haven't heard you play, nor have you heard me, so this is irrelevant.

And even if my school blocked me, I would get around. I'm not some computer-illiterate fool. There are reasons why I don't play RS...

Hey Here! Nice to see you again! (I haven't checked the General News in a while... didn't see the thread). If you haven't checked out the SRL Members section in a while, you might want to. Not much to say, but it's nice that you came back to say hi.

Hmm. I've never really checked the members section. Almost ever. I am now though, now that you say it. Anything specific I need to see?

And to WhAcK - Who are you? Because I don't think I know you (nor do I think you know me, for that matter). I am still making sigs though.
