    Suggestion on walking

    Ok, heres my situation: In the script I am making, my character is walking from a road to an area with no road( grass with trees). What are some ways I can walk to this area? I am trying to find some of the best possible ways to do this so the script will have a smooth walking procedure.

    Please post suggestion, tips, recommendations.

    Thanks in advance!

    how far do you have to walk through the non-road area?

    Could you describe where you start to where you want to finish so i can determine what techniques to suggest?

    Ok, Well, The Player on the dirt road is starting near the stairs, near falador. He needs to walk all the way to the Mind Alter( Mysterious Ruins). Ill post the path I want to take later.

    Ya, nothing around the mountain side looks close to its color except the other side directly across from the mountain. It has a hill side too.

    If anyone else knows a good way to walk to that alter( via mountain side, etc.) Please post a recommendation or comment. Even if it is like HSL, RGB, XYZ, or whatever, I am very open to learning those too.

    Well, I am going to work on another procedure for right now. Thanks in advance!

    Use a linearwalk from the center out to the east part of the screen.
    Then when you have the x and y of the mountainside color click something like (x - 20, y) so it moves the point you click over to the left.

    yeah pretty much what every one else is saying:

    you could make function that finds the color of the mountain to make it more accurate:

    SCAR Code:
    Function FindMountainColor: Integer;
    begin
      if(FindColorTolerance(x,y,TempColor,MMX1,MMY1,MMX2,MMY2,10))then //whatever color you pick for the mountain
      begin
        Result := GetColor(x,y);
      end else
      Writeln('could not find mountain color');
      TerminateScript;
    end;

    and use that function in your radialwalk for the "color" part
