I've looked around the junior scripts and free for all sections, and I have some ideas for new scripts. I personally don't like making a script if there's a substitution for it, as that would be mostly a waste of time. Instead, I would prefer making scripts that haven't been thought of before, and haven't been made yet. So here they are, my ideas.
#1 - Ranger
#2 - Complete RunecrafterBegin in varrock. You have a choice of using bronze (cheap) arrow mode or rune (expensive) arrow mode. They don't necessarily have to be bronze or rune.
If you choose bronze arrow mode, it will shoot at enemies (I'll hopefully find a pen or something nearby) without picking the arrows back up. When it runs out, it can either
- go back to the bank to get more arrows provided you have some in your bank, or
However, if you choose rune arrow mode, the script will go into the pen and get as many arrows of your type as possible (optionally retreiving arrows of other types as well). If you eventually run out (or the total amount of arrows goes below a certain amount) then it could optionally buy more arrows at a nearby store.
- get money out of a bank (I'll have it automatically calculate the amount needed, for convenience).
The only problems I can see with this script is that there would be way too many options, and that could be really annoying for anyone who uses the script.
#3 - Location IncludeBegin in Varrock East Bank. I am hoping to have this script work with as many different types of runes as possible, so that there can be an option of gathering a ratio of runes (i.e. for every 10 air runes, get 5 fire runes). I'm calling it a complete runecrafter because I am hoping to make this gather rune essence, then runecraft it after, therefore you don't have to run one script for 20 days then a different script for another 20 days.
The only problem I see with this script is that it will take a while to actually start getting things done, but after it gets started it should go quickly.
#4 - Just stick with the Silver CrafterThis one is pretty much just a dream at the moment (obviously) and I highly doubt I would be able to pull this one off, but basically I was thinking of making an include that lets you map walk to and from major cities. For example, you could include the file and just type "MapWalk("Edgeville","Lumbridge"), making the script walk from Edgeville to Lumbridge. This isn't just going to drop you anywhere in the city, though; I am hoping to have a pre-designated place that the script will drop off the character for each place (for example, the east bank in varrock or the death centre in lumbridge), leaving the detailed mapwalking to the script maker.
And, if I am able to do that, I will think about making a modification that can find where the character is anywhere on the map and walk to a major city (MapWalkTo("Varrock")). If this works, no script will ever lose where it is, provided this script knows where it is.
Please tell me what you think I should and shouldn't make, what order to do them in, what should be kept the same and made different, etc. I hope that I am able to eventually make all of these, but I would like to know what to concentrate on for the time being.I am going to implement DTM's and better walking abilities into the script I already made, the Al Kharid SilverCrafter. If I feel up to it, I'll probably add new features to it as well.
Thank you very much for your help,
