Default Some General Info on macroing

So I've taken up some time to devote to Java programming. For anyone who does not know how JAGeX detects macroers I'll be uploading a video on youtube on how they detect macroers. It's very simple video that can give any script maker a better understand on how JAGeX detects macros.

Here is the link to watch the vid on youtube (only 44 seconds):

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=9H5nSczvvmI

I need feedback - ANYONE going to give feedback?

Also another quick note. Jagex could easily detect SCAR if they wanted to... Here is a link to prove it to you:

    Go to : http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest >
be sure to go in FIREFOX >
pick any game you want (it doesnt matter) >
Then it'll ask if you trust them with JAVA (just like when you first opened RuneScape they asked if you trusted this company) >
Say yes of course and it'll install the add-on (which you did when you started RuneScape, jagex installed RuneScapes add-on in your Windows folder (don't believe me? check it) >
It'll then scan your computer of your hardware to detect if you can play the game you had chosen >

    How can Jagex do this?

Well for one you already accepted RuneScape as a trusted Java applet. Thus Jagex has no need to ask you again. Jagex could easily just scan your comp one day for SCAR (as long as you have the RS window open that is).

Also note... They don't even have to do that to detect that you are using any botting ware. They could easily enable a keyimput method (for example they already have, when you push F3 in runescape what happens?) That is an example of keyinput method in Java.

The 'hotkeys' used in SCAR could be detected like this... In scar the Pause hotkey is something along the lines of CTRL + ALT + S or A (w/e). Jagex could easily forward when those keys are pressed to easily detect macroing..

I'd be worried if I was you guys... It's almost as if Jagex doesn't want to catch the macros because it's JUST that easily.

in the main loop, we should have the script also stop when an f key is down.

    repeat
    until(balblabla) or (isfkeydown(12))

But if they started running scans on my computer, I'd be pretty pissed and tell them so.

Also, just because you have SCAR does not mean you bot. It can be used for other things also. But if it detects IBOT on the other hand..

That would illegal for them to do so.
Not illegal like cheating in an online game, scanning your computer for no reason. They would be like the American government lol.

    cool vid...

however they dont have minimum wage people watching mouse movements of every player in rs lol...

they would use a program with it most likely to detect when you are pushing the boundaries between human and bot.

i wouldnt worry, they WILL not scan your computers and they are too lazy to stop SCAR when they have bigger issues with like RSdemon and such

It is actually legal to scan your computer. You have agreed to the ToS, right?

Im pretty sure its illegal for Jagex to check your pc and we know they dont. Mouse movements really arent that useful as ours are very real... and knowing a mouse position doenst help prove an autoer and less your stupid

Well, I guess my question is: If they can easily detect if we are macroing then why not get rid of us?

I think you give Jagex a little too much credit. it would indeed be against the law to scan other peoples computers and many angry parents would sue Jagex for all they have. The video was good, but how can you be sure thats how it works? and that is not how they catch macro-ers, I can guarentee you that (at least, not mouse movements alone). The hotkeys can be changed. I'm not worried.

I'm not worried. Since JaGex is "cracking down" so hard and changing all the shit like dropping and uneven trades and such why would they choose that route to fuck up the legits when they could just scan all of our pc's and bust all of us and leaving the legits be?

i find your lack of grammar offensive, and i don't find what belt said offensive at all,our government does invade our privacy, wire tapping ,etc. it really does happen,so there's no reason to be offended by the truth.

Yeah and i even used Movemouse, sendkeys, and some dudes autobanner and my guy still isn't banned and i did it a month ago...movemouse was about 2 months ago and when i did movemouse i was spamming things using sendkeys like current player pos, mouse pos, color under mouse pos,and some other random crap.. I doubt theyd scan your computer also when i stop scar hot keys dont usually work for me for some reason so i use the stop button..
