    Default [Idea] Finding randoms fast

    Just an idea, someone probabely already thought of it but...

    Basically, you perform a raw check first (very fast) and only if that found 'something' try the more in depth manner (via nicks).
    I was thinking, if you disable all chat communications (the lower buttons) then no text will ever be displayed right?
    No, randoms will still say things!
    Can't we use that to quickly (depending how fast a color can be found) find out if there 'could' be a random? And as a final test use the nick to be sure?

    Another thing: what happens when you logout when a random (no battle!) wants your attention? If it just dissappears (which I doubt ) then to handle those randoms you could just logout and log back in? Or (most likely) you just can't logout?

    Thus if I understand correctly, FindNormalRandoms will find them AND solve them?
    What's the difference between FindFastRandoms and FindNormalRandoms?

    First is exactly what FindTalk does.
    Second, they come back once you login.
    FindFastRandoms isn't needed anymore, but before FindNormalRandoms missed a few rands, now it doesn't.
    I made a new script, check it out!.

    That's how scripts worked back in the day.
    They would turn off your chat and just search for yellow text.
    But it's so suspicious and you get banned faster that way.
    The way i make randoms finding faster is i make it search the minimap for a npc dot.
    If there is one it searches for yellow text on the screen.
    If there is some then it searches for my nick.
    So if there's not an npc on the map it just exits and saves lots of time.

    another reason you cant search for the yellow text is because alot of npcs talk, like cows, and ducks, and some goblins...

    Pretty much if you put a lot of FTWait and FindNormalRandoms you will have good random coverage
