    Default anyone know alot about laptops and wireless cards?

    if so then help.. my wireless card, oddly enough, stopped working for some reason and i dont know what to do

    is there a way for me to check whats up with it?

    btw when i take it out it does the regular sound
    but when i plug it it the activity light and the status light blink for a second
    then it does a boop boop boop sound
    but it should do like a boop beep sound =;/ <-(mustache lol)

    but seriously i need someone to help =/
    this laptop is seriously a piece of crap

    Since it "Just stopped working." Either a voltage leak short circuited the on-board components or the card itself. So basically its a hardware failure, so nothing you can do will fix it.

    Also, I don't think this question is in the correct forum..

    This happend to me. Is it external? If it is, look and see if it got bent a lil bit. Thats what heppend to mine, I bent it back and it worked again.

    When i was on wireless i had this happen to me alot, the usb antena heated up and refused to work when it was. This got really annoying in the summer. But when it does the boop boop boop I restarted my computer and wrapped and ice bag around the antena and it make it work again...

    but this is the first time it has ever happened, and i have been using the wireless for some time and it never happened, also i restarted my computer and it didnt work. and i left it off for 8 hrs and still nothing

    also the antenna isnt hot at all

    If its a short circuit on the bored then yeah... "You" can't fix it then. Unless you have the knowledge and materials to replace the broken parts on the faulty circuit. Which is unlikely, majority of circuit boards are produced by high precision robotics.

    well its odd now because when im putting it in the activity light is lit up but it still does the boop booop boop sound
    and its not connecting =/

    Then its probably the laptop.

    If all else fails buy a wireless Usb, they don't cost much.

    basically just buy a new one if it just randomly stopped, there's probably nothing you can do to fix it, in less you take it apart and replace a few things.

    I think it might be something to do with the WZC thing, although if it just happened suddenly then i guess not, but worth a look anyway.

    Start, run, services.msc
    Go to the bottom and make sure "Wireless Configuration" is started
