in truth they are nukeing the whole game to get rid of RTWers, it just happens to be tha tthier main tool has always been bots but that is just something that those of us who bot for the pure shits and giggles we get from botting will have to deal with.

either we will stop boting for the quick rsgp and bot simply to continue to stick it to jagex or we will start haveing disposable mains. in all honesty who here would find it hard to replace(skillwise) thier main by the end of a month?

I'm glad to hear this I'm a new member to SRL. My wife plays RS and had me turned on to this and I'm a Navy man so my thought is work smarter not harder. So once I play and learn I'll try and share what i can with everyone the site.

i totaly agree. this update will weed out alot of leechers, and it will force those dedicated to make scripts that dont put their mains at risk. i am only just getting into scripting, but i started it as a hobby, not realy to make money, or even lvl, but just a challenge. this update may seem huge now, but im sure other updates tht are easy to get around today, at one time threatened the idea of cheating rs. this will just make the communty of those who dont quit stronger.

they should make the old wilderness back, may BH a minigame somewhere else, but incorporate some BH in wilderness...like only allow food, pots, weapons and armour into the wilderness and if you have cash or anything like that have them not allow you to cross that damn wilderness wall

Good idea, but then they would just go and say 'buying d med 300k' or s/t and then he buys for 300k, goes to wildy, dies, gets his mule to grab it, and then just sells it but also, about bein behind the wildy wall is a problem, theyll have to make like a safe so u cant use tele grab while out of the wildy

What measures is Jagex going through to slow SRL exactly; I know about the 3k trading thing but what else?

This is probably the dummest thing jagex could have done to runescape ROFL XD
Didn't they say something like: "If we don't completely stop this now, the bots will eventually become Undetecable!"
Well, that's exactly what they are forcing us to do, by making it impossible for our armies to work for our main, they are litterally forcing us to make scripts which are worthy to be run on our mains. Like Fakawi already said, this is a new era, in which our scripts will surpass all limitations, and also eventually max out our mains in a few categories, because we are forced to use them on them if we want to have an impressive character.
In fact, this has destroyed all those autoers that broke the rules, by autoing at lvl 3 and in default clothes, so it is a good change overall.
There might be some frustration, because all of our multiplayer scripts turned useless, I felt the very same for a few minutes, because i could scrap my entire tutorial island runner, which i have been working on for about 4 months now and was almost finished, but heck, it gave me some much needed experience in scripting, which i will now put to use in order to learn the more advanced stuff, and eventually, maybe, create an undetectable script. So, we should just forget about how things were, and how we would like them to be, and face the things how they are, and with full determination and make the best out of this!

Man, I have a question. Have we lost? No because there is no loss. They have only limited us to stop RWT. Has Jagex lost? Yes, they lost money, members and the economy (really unstable atm). Why don't we just make our accounts "legit" for now until the heat is off and then auto. Think about it. We can over through the economy! We can be the kings of RuneScape. We can make people think were legit and auto at night. I know these thoughts are weird but I'm just throwing ideas onto the table. Very nice speech fawk.

Jagex doesnt understand that most of us are just having fun,
we never bothered anyone.

Yeh Fagex keeps on ruining and ruining the game... whats their point? are they tired of making money?? there were macros that were members....so what the hell is wrong with them? most of us autoers are members too, and we dont bother anybody as the guy above me said , its boring like to keep on clicking rocks for years to get 99 mining , while its fun and faster to auto it with some like JuKKa's Guild Miner, we dont get stressed , dont waste our lifes in front of a screen clicking rock by rock.... as someone said, the games are for having fun , not to become boring and pointless, we just level up with a little...BIG help so whats their problem , do they want to end up with no job at all? well....I guess not so they shouldnt be ruining the game anymore but fixing it...

well, java is considered a teaching language. even though it doesn't have many practical applications which will earn you money (exception runescape), the skills found in java can be transferred to higher level programming languages. it's good that you are so enthusiastic about learning.
