Be careful you don't over load the batteries and they explode and kill you.

    On second though....Have fun.

Really kl. Careful you don't damage the battery your charging. The battery might not work if you charge it to long.

For all people in europe, do not flip the switch(not the power one) of your powersupply of your computer, i repeat do not do it! Dont come back untill you made a tesla coil, good luck with your 100meters of copper wire^^. Nah, seriously dont do any of the above and great job, but three rechargable batteries are 3.6 volt, i dont think such a small solar cell can generate that? Just wondering, do they fully charge?

    I helped.

Jason, has it held anymore charge than the few minutes of power that we had before?

[ACRONYM="I hope not."]Jason is usually on MSN at this time; Did he explode? (Hover mouse over text to see answer [/ACRONYM]

Jason, please write a tut on how to do it and not have the battery get messed up or leak acid. I tried this like a few years ago, the batteries leaked acid all over the place.

I thought you couldn't do that with batteries...

What voltage are those? You understand the putting batteries end to end like that increases the voltage, so you are putting 4.5 volts though that recharging battery? Is that what its rated for?

Have you ever made an EMP with over $4,000 of copper wire and a $250 pure iron ingot?

I was without the internet yesterday. High winds...

And no, I'm afraid it hasn't held much more of a charge. I had it on for four hours when we went to the movies, and that barely gave it enough to stay on. Left it on when I went to bed a couple nights, and still nothing.

I switched batteries (Cellphone batteries. Two phones, same batteries.), and left that one charging, but it's still not holding much of a charge.

    Any tips?
