Accept that the waters around you have grown.
If i can get the correct code for the blue party hat i could crack it and use auto rune on my RSC account.
cool going 2 chekc it out right away![]()
Andrew wrote the engine that would become RuneScape's when he was still in college. You used to be able to see it on his old site (maybe you still can), something like "ported my 3D engine to Java today on a whim." I imagine the RS2 engine is still very similar to that first version. It's not Alice, though Alice does seem like an interesting program.
hmm this could come in use to RS Private servers, this could help us make our own NPC's , hmm not sure about the memory leaks tho... that would be bad
it could be and also look at this the minimum computer hardware requirments are the same as the high detail on runescape lol look
A Pentium running at 500 MHz or better
a VGA graphics card capable of high (16 bit) color
128 MB of RAM
video resolution of 1024x768
A sound card
Varrock gTanner
Previously known as England155.
I saw a post from Andrew on the forums once..
RS has 970,000 lines of runescript and 50,000 lines of java :O

Nah only 7 years?
Hmmm.. Interesting, I'm not very computer Literate, so this might not work, but I'm gonna try opening some of the RuneScape Files on my comp with ALICE Y'know, the ones in temporary files or something like that, I'll post later on what I come up with
Maybe we can make our own version of runescape!
No....1 million lines of code...countless hours of 3d designing...it's pretty well impossible to make a 'scape' that is completely your own.
It would take 10 mins - 3 hours to design each npc. Last I looked in the RHQ database, there were about 800 npc's, I wouldn't be suprised if there were 1k+ now. Average that out to one thousand hours. Now design the whole 'scape' part of it. A landscape that big would take a crazy amount of time to create.
Now private servers...they're another matter...
Interested in C# and Electrical Engineering? This might interest you.
Well, I've had a good play with ALICE now, And I am begining to understand all of it's uses and applications, Perhaps we can make our own "Runescape based" situations such as create objects like randoms or pickaxe heads and test out new scar things without going online and running risk of bannage. I'll update on my findings later. This program really has interested me![]()
Could this be possible to make replicas of runescape for people to give people keyloggers? :S
For example, people type www.ruenscape.com and it goes to a replica of the runescape page, then people try to log in or do whatever, and they get pwned
I hope that doesn't happen lol.
Well, With sites like that usually, they just have a picture of the log-in screen when you select which world, and then you log in with your details and then nothing happens, it just sends your user and pass away to whoever the site bleongs too, And then you realise you're screwed. But yes, I guess you could Make a runescape "Lite" version, but it would take ages, And prob. Not with this program.
good point nategr
Save f2p Runescape!

I joined this forum a long time ago. I leeched, I didn't really bother to properly learn SCAR and it's uses. I am sorry. I've matured, and I want to commit to a hobby I will enjoy and is worthwhile. Teach me.
