    Default Monk Robe picker(RWT SOLUTION!)

    Hey

    Guys i think i found the 3k limit....Monk robes!

Monk robes are worth 500each(the set)they can be found at edgeville on the monk monastery..i was thinking of a script that picked them up and banked them.

My solution:If you get,hmm...lets see...1k sets a night?(the script need to be ran on the account u want the money, like ur main).

then you trade ur autoer...in this case a guildminer that has 10k coal on him...ur autoer gives u 4k coal(500k) and u give him 1k monk sets.....

Congratulations! you have succesfully evaded the 3k limit.!! Am Smart!!!.

The nearest bank is very far away...It would be like Fally west wouldn't it? So I'd say manually it takes about 30 sec to walk there (to the set from the bank), probably like 40-50 if you auto to walk there. Then how long does it take to respawn? Probably atleast a minute. So far you have gotten one set in 50 sec. Then you wait 60 sec and get another set...etc. So one full run = about 14-15 minutes. Basically you get 1 set per min. If you run it 24/7, you get 1,440 sets a day, 10,080 a week. This is assuming the script is 100% flawless...Most likely the long walk will mess up like atleast once every 5 runs, making this basically impossible (5 runs = 35k worth of sets).

There's better ways to transfer items :\

EDIT: Oh, nvm then, edgeville is closer, drizzt reminded (below) Lets see how long it'll take with that....

Ok well lets see. If the respawn time is 1 min, it'd probably be better to get a set, bank it, come back and get another, bank etc. Except that would be hard to make a script for because of all the walking. So lets do it with all the walking first...

20 sec to walk to the monastary and get the set
20 sec to walk back and bank

So now you get 1 set every 40 sec - 24/7 = 2,160 (1.08m) sets a day, 15,120 (7.56m) sets a week. But it'll get lost often because of the walking

Say you wait for a full load before runnign back

20 sec to walk and get 1 set
1 min wait between each of the rest of the sets (so 780 sec)
20 sec to run back and bank

Now it takes 840 sec (14 min) for 14 sets. One set a min. If you run 24/7 you get 1,440 (720k) sets a day, 10,080 (5.04m) a week. You wouldn't get lost as often, but it's not as fast.

I guess this could turn out to be a decent idea if somebody makes a very good script for it

EDIT: Took me a minute and 10 sec to do that walk (couldn't test respawn times, prayer not 31)... Well that makes it not so good...More like the first calculations

I like this idea, but it seems that the Eye of Newt is a more effective way though. I may look into this still

How does this beat the 3k limit? Wouldn't it be better to just spend the time autoing Coal on our main instead of picking monk's robes, walking, and not getting any exp?

If you have a good computer, just run the robe picker (if there will every be one) and whatever you want to auto on your autoers at the same time (using SMARTs or VMs). Then hopefully you'll have enough robes to trade for coal.

But yeah, these kinds of ways to beat it (getting some worthless item that's worth a pretty penny in player to player trade) then trading it to your autoer kind of defeats the purpose. The main reason people use armies is so they don't have to auto on their main and so that scripts run longer. Well, you're autoing on your main anyway now, and even if autoing the goods goes longer, your main probably won't be able to keep up with the items to trade for the goods. So it kind of defeats the purpose, but oh well

If you used KYAB or some java bot it would be a lot easier on all the walking.

IF you wanna lose your main...do it,if you have 7 guild miners which u don't care to get them banned(small lose) then do this, monk sets are 500gp each means that if ur main gets 1k sets thats 500k if u trade to ur autoer...understand?

and tell me the eye of newt way? how's that?

You run gerauchert's Newt[er] on your main. It buys eye of newts at the port sarim shop and banks in Draynor. Then you get your autoer with your main, and trade the eye of newts for the player to player price, which is like 65-70gp, whereas you bought them for like 24ea.

And IMO you could make a cycle and then sell the eye of newts on GE with your autoer, then you get some extra cash

Well you see you risk your main either way because this involves autoing too. I don't think this works out, btw this way does not get past the 3k limit it is earning you cash seeing as you can just sell this thing in G.E. and get the same amount ( if someone does buy ).

Good point. That doesn't really affect Monk Robes, on account of nobody buys them, but eye of newts are a different story. The only thing the eye of newt way helps is basically it helps you sell your eye of newts faster. Though Monk Robes you can't re-sell to get more money (on your autoer), so that brings about a disadvantage (Making the Eye of Newt way better than Monk Robes). Unless we find something that we can get almost instantly with our mains (without having to walk a long way), all of this isn't really working out.

But it does evade the 3k limit...i will stick to monk robes(if someones makes a script)because MOnks are 500 ea a set(2 invi spaces) and eye of newts are like 20gp ea...
