JAD scammer?

ive talked to JAD on MSN (email runescapemacro@hotmail.com) and i know it was him because other people wouldnt know the stuff we were talking about. so i dont believe hes scamming you. its only been 3 days.

Yes, today is the fourth day. And I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for now... because he hasn't signed on this website since the 2nd

I will definitely vouch for JAD and give you $50 from my own pocket if he indeed did scam you.......We need to give him the benefit of the doubt first......

Even though in JAD's profile, the email address is listed as runescapemacro@hotmail.com, this address is actually registered to Lord_Killler

Under JAD's account, the email address JADMacro@hotmail.com is listed.....

IP Address's are similar for each account, but NOT exact.

Please give some more time for JAD to respond to this post.

relax, if you sent money over the internet its VERY easy for the bank to track, you can also press charges on him and sue him if you wanna take it that far.

Are you serious? Press charges over FIFTY bucks? They tell you sorry theres nothing we could do about it, if you get scammed 1000 bucks.

And If I remember right, didnt some other dude accuse him of leaking scripts or whatsoever, a while ago? And it turned out that JAD wasnt leaking?

This stuff is bothering me. One of JAD's scripts is the entire reason I started scripting, and recently there have been so many bad things that he "Did". I like JAD way to much to believe he did anything like this. I don't care if he says that he scammed you on a video while holding 4 forms of government issued ID. He's to nice of a person to do anything like this.

wow that's is inturesting i know jad, he's a smart and cool guy, and respected scripter here, and yes as n3ss3s said he's not online alot, but i really furrowed my brow when i saw this post, im sorry but i trust jad more that he wouldn't scam then i trust you for just causing trouble, but if he really does steal it with out teaching you untill satisfyed he'll be shunned and ip banned from SRL. im sure of that.

I would like everyone to note that JAD has yet to voice his stance on this issue. Instead, people from the entire community have voiced their opinions backing JAD and his worth as a community member (not to mention that you attempt at greatness was flawed to say the least). It would be in your best interest to leave SRL for several months, and, on your return, learn to script by reading tuts (like everyone else does), not paying full members money and then complaining when they have a real life.

Srry for the rant, but I respect JAD way more then I currently trust you.

honestly, if i was you id just file one of those claims to get your money back from paypal. say that the seller didnt send the goods you payed for, or something...suprises me that a respected member would even accept cash to teach you, besides there are plenty of people here willing to teach for free.

I've never liked JAD but dunno if he'd do this.. Or maybe it felt like a nice idea to teach for 50$ but he got tired to teaching and decided to keep the 50$ and lie, which is too easy on the internet.

Not everyone can be on the internet 24/7 trying to teach you. For me I have been Extremely busy the past few months just with life's problems. I know that JAD has been away for the "Free" scripting for awhile now, and might need to refresh himself on some topics. Be patient, you will eventually learn, the world doesn't revolve around you even though you spent fifty dollars to some guy you meet on the internet.

Just my 2 cents...

Sorry guys... Finals with school (end of quarter). Haven't been on the computer in a while.

But nyways, here's the facts.

-I was sitting on my computer chatting with people on msn and scripting when JoeyFeduka added me and messaged me asking me to teach him to script for 50$.

-It's not against the rules to make money teaching people to SCAR script outside of the forums from what I know. It's against the rules to sell stuff on the forums and advertise and stuff, but many great scripters here have bought/sold runescape gold and/or SCAR scripts for real life money or runescape money elsewhere.

-I didn't really read much of this topic because I have a ton of homework and stuff and I'm really busy.

-I taught JoeyFeduka many things about SCAR/SRL on msn, he learned a lot on his own, I helped him with a lot of questions he had, and the deal was that I'd teach him the things it takes to get into srl members, and whenever I was on msn I could answer any questions he asked me.

-once again, I wasn't even advertising this, JoeyFeduka (from what I know) added p1nky to ask if I was trusted or something, and then added me offering me 50$, which I took in exchange for the knowledge specified, and I fulfilled teaching him the knowledge specified.

-I'm sorry if you feel ripped off in any way, but you came to me, you gave me 50$, I spent hours teaching you about SCAR scripting, I taught you what I said I would + more, and I fulfilled the deal.


Anyways, to sum it all up, we made a deal on what I'd teach him for 50$, I fulfilled that deal, and now he may be having regrets making the deal. Not my fault, I didn't break the forum rules (from what I know), and nothing illegal, deceiving or tricky was done here, and I thought everything went smooth.

Sorry for any inconvenience and I'll be checking up on this thread for future posts if anybody has anything to add.

And please don't post anything quoting me if you didn't even finish reading my post...

Edit: and by the way, I didn't force joey in any way into thinking he needed a teacher to learn scripting. As stated above, he IM'd me without any type of contact before that time, and asked me to teach him for 50$, so we made a deal, and I said okay.

Before answering your question, I did read a little more of the thread and thought I'd say something in regards to some posts.

I didn't know it was a bad thing to accept 50$ for teaching somebody to script when even p1nky had advised him otherwise before me and JoeyFeduka even came in contact. I've been saving for a computer, somebody offered me 50$ for my time (which I probably spent about or over 10 hours of that time...).

I don't think this makes me a bad person, a scammer, or anything.

@CanadaMan, the deal was that in exchange for 50$, I would teach JoeyFeduka the basics of SCAR scripting and srl, and I would teach him the things, and give him the knowledge, to be able to make a script to become a srl member. I think Joey is regretting what happened and is looking for somebody to blaim, which would be me because I'm the one he gave the money to.


EDIT: And to the people saying "I don't believe JAD would do this" and "JAD wouldn't do this, he's not a scammer", there's a difference between Scamming and Exchanging. We made a deal to exchange knowledge/time to teach that knowledge for cash. You can't get mad if you think you made a bad exchange and then call it a scam.

It's not greediness either... It's being offered 50 dollars for my time and knowledge and accepting. Teachers at school do it all the time, although you could probably learn english/math/science...etc. online by yourself without paying anyone (even though we'd have to pay with taxes for teachers any way... But you get what I mean).

And to clear that Lord_Killer thing up RAM, Lord_Killler is me. That's (partially) my runescape name and I hated it and made this account after being on that one only a few weeks. I had told Boreas about it a while though.
