    Default Building my new computer. :)

    I just finished buying my new computer, hopefully I'll get it next week.

    If your interested, I'm building it myself, so here are all of the parts I got.

    - CPU, Motherboard, Ram: Core 2 Quad, XFX MoBo, 4 Gigs Ram

    -Graphics Card: XFX 8800 GS

    -Case

    -Power Supply: 550w

    - Hard Drive: 250 gigs

    -DVD burner

    [Update 4/15/08]
    I received the case today only took one day from when they shipped it on Monday Yeahh FedEx.

    [Update 4/16/08]
    I received my newegg order from UPS which included Combo drive, Hard Drive and CPU fan.

    [Update 4/17/08]
    I received my Buy.com order from FedEx which included my Power Supply.

    [Update 4/18/08]
    I received my Tigerdirect.com order from UPS which included my MoBo, CPU, and Ram. And my friend let my barrow his 8600 GT so I will put it all together tomorrow.

    I'm going to buy Company of Heroes tomorrow and I'm probably going to play some Counter Strike: Source so if you want to play either with me hit me up on Steam

    pretty nice, but look out!
    there isn't a heatsink in there!
    your bundle that has the proc says it's OEM, which means you need to buy a cooler for it
    and that power source might be a little wimpy for that setup, but I'm assuming you went through and added up all the power consumption rates for your specs and they were less than that......otherwise, if it crashes for no apparent reason every once in a while its probably due to your powersource not having a high enough watt rating. Just a heads up

    Thanks, and thanks for your concern, but I got a fan I just didn't feel like putting in the link. :P And as for the PSU, I thought that topo, but I have been told by the kind people at the Jonnyguru forums (a specific PSU forum) that the 550 would have plenty of power, partialy cause it has a high efficiency 85%. Thanks for your concern

    Well for the OEM parts just be careful those OEM was not officially from intel core release and it will have just 1 year warranty... when ever you try to buy online check the warranty 1st before attempt any purchase...
