    Default video editing program.

Hey all. Im making a video, and i'd like to ask if anyone knows about a good (but easy, not too easy tho) editing program, since i only got windows movie maker, which kinda sucks. oh and btw, dont say like '' just use movie maker'' or '' no i dont know sorry'' or some else spam.

camtasia..It's pay, but i believe it might have a trial, and i think as well as taking video's of your screen, it also has an editor too. Check it out?

Sony Vegas of course. you can't record video with it like camtasia but it's pretty simple to use. it has the basic things you need to make a video and some more advanced stuff that you can ignore until you get to know the program better. i recommend it :P

you could use adobe premiere but that is kinda complicated, it just takes some tinkering to figure out what does what and how to do things, and there is a trial but again it isn't really user friendly, but then again no adobe product really is.

As video editing is one of my hobby's i have used a lot of software and can give good incite. The trick when looking for a editor is finding one that will do what you like with out a lot of hassle. I have used Sony Vegas and even some of the open source ones like Virtual dub. Some of the OS programs are better. Here is a list that may or may not help you out: free video editing programs
Also here is a link to some good Sony Vegas tuts if you decide to use it.

If I can be of any other help just ask.

I used to use Pinnacle Studio (with Hollywood FX) and now that I look back on it, either I wasn't using it properly or it is not much better than Windows Movie Maker. But I think I'll try Sony Vegas myself, lol.

doom9 is the place for video encoding, you might want to check them out.

I like a combination of AVISynth and AvsP myself.

I would have to say camtasia over hypercam.
By the way what kind of video did you make, if you don't mind me asking?

well, i made a pretty nice bounty hunter pk video best spec on the video was 25-24 (note that im only lvl 67). my 80 str from Hy's FCer powns ^^ i'd like to tell everyone here to watch it but that would probably get my account banned :P oh well

EDIT: i also think that camtasia is better, but im going to try and compare :P

EDIT2: Camtasia = FTW!!!! hypercam = uhm, duh? i just compared them, the pixels are all messed up in hypercam2. but camtasia is quite lame. everytime i pause a window pops up -.-

to keep the window from popping up you could just hit f9 to pause and f10 to stop it completely.
