Default Best way of walking in runescape

Hey guys i was just wondering what is the best way of walking using the minimap in runescape?

I was reading TuTs and i see RadialWalk is the best method to use but they were threads created long ago so i just wondering if there is any new better way of walking in runescape

    Thanks for your time

There are DDTM's but they need some time to get a grab on.
    I would suggest RadialWalk

Thanks for the help but i have tried RadialWalk before and it was hard to make it work decent, Would it be worth my time learning how to use DDTM's or would it be just as efficient to use Radial Walk?

The best way is a combination of radialwalk and symbols (dtm/ddtm optional).

Please read ZephyrsFury's thread about walking, it's very good!

The best way of walking depends on your situation.

If you are trying to walking along a road or another thing that can be autocoloured easily then RadialWalk or RadialRoadWalk is great.

If are trying to find a specific place that is easy to distinguish in the minimap then a DDTM or DTM is good for you... as long as you can get some decent points that aren't easily hidden by symbols/player dots etc.

If the place you want to click has a symbol near it it might be a perfect opportunity to use symbols. SRL's FindSymbol is extremly good at finding and return the coordinates of a symbol. Just remember though that if the symbol moves around a lot or if its easily covered with player dots or other things there might be a problem.

Lastly if the place you wanna walk to has a constant colour or if it can be autocoloured then a simple FindColor and then a Mouse will do fine.

If you're in the middle of no where and have no reliable method of walking then using coordinates might help to. Just bear in mind though that it is easily detectable if you're clicking on (or close to) the exact same coord thus a ban can be expected if you do it too often and don't have a large randomness.

You took the words right out of my mouth Zephyr . As he said, you never want one specific way to walk. It should all be oriented to your situation. I suggest trying all the different ways you can when walking and see which one works best.
