My personal thought is the randoms are embedded into JaGex's system files, not into your computer. Yeah yeah yeah it might put some files on your computer that tends to audit gameplay that you can try and audit yourself, but personaly could it be embedded in the system core of JaGex is the question.

Lol no. Of course they aren't going to let you read it. You can't just open it in notepad. They make the file look like that,

I'm pretty sure all those .idx files are for the 3d models (things like the map and objects) that get cached when you use signed to make it load faster. If you use unsigned, every time you get to a loading screen you have to download those files and put them in your RAM, which makes your compure lag more.

If you're interested Silabsoft has a 3D Model Viewer for the RS cache.

Oh, and the UID is just a number for tracking you and your accounts. I'm assuming it's so they can IP-ban more effectively something like a packet bot ever comes back up again. I personally delete mine each time I load SMART

hmm, if i have 2 diff comps, and use only 1 to auto, and not log on my legit user on there, do you think that the legit user will still be at risk? o.0

Don't delete your cache files every time, WT-Fakawi got his addy mining army banned like that.

It's more like every 6th time since I hardly ever restart my computer

Also, SCAR has an rs_DeleteUID; which is what I've been using

I reckon it's something to do with Java being encrypted, considering when you select the unsigned version of Java, it doesn't copy the cache files. Who knows? Jagex, like the government keep many secrets.

nice tut... but i don't think this works the same way on vista tho... i serched for UID but i didn't found anything... but i did found the random.dat file in this path C:\.jagex_cache_32... there were also a map called runescape there but in that folder there where just a file called "game_unpacker.dat" and 29 files called "main_file_cache" with diffrent extensions like .dat2, .idx1, .idx2 and so on... thx anyway

When I go to the actual jagex cache, I have .dat files with usernames of accounts ive logged in on :SSS

What could they possibly put it those files, like think about it, what are they supposed to put??

Even my free Delphi compiler has an option to monitor users of programs I make by storing their IP adresses by saving them to a .dat file. O_o

    Question through all this:

It mentions that we don't know where these files go when using smart. Isn't that because smart uses an unsigned java applet, rather than the signed?

    I'm curious now...I'm running like 4x SMART's lol.
