I would too. I've met a few people that talked like that to me, but when i told them or they just stopped talking and left. So you could have suspicions just don't take them to seriously.

I use perfect grammer when playing RS. I don't know why, i just kind of do.. I doubt it was an undercover admin/mod.

My pMod friend told me this...

If you dont beleive oh well...

"Uhm Matt... be careful macroing.. because if we [any mods] see anyone we believe to be macroing... we submit their runescape name into some new form... then Jagex mods come and check it out."

I think this might, or might not be a Jagex Mod. But I say probably.

By the way... another word from the same mod...

Jagex is doing some staff, and punishment changes... for example... some offenses might be worth less... (Like last time they switched around, like 3k peopl got unmuted.) He said I might get my pure back.

I don't see why should they go undercover since we have seen them on Jagex accounts too, for example some time ago someone posted of a Jagex mod at the Mage Training Arena.

I highly doubt it was a mod, I mean yes they have there own accounts.. but to play on .. not to hunt down autoers.. they do that with a system or detection or something?

If that was the case we cud be pking with mods and if we swore we would get ban so fast, So no need to worry

maybe cause when they go... people start following them and being "Noobs".. so they cant get what they needed to do get done.

I often use perfect grammar? I is be no a jaksex mood?
    :]. Lol sorry.
There's alot of people in the world who use perfect grammar. That really has nothing to do with somebody being a Jagex admin or not.

    Hmm...
Now that you all start talking about undercover Jagex agents, there's always a chance that there could be a secret one among us on this very forum. A solution to this would be to be cautious of anyone registering from an IP address based in the city where Jagex's HQ is, Cambridge, England.

J mods are getting smarter tho, the trade limit was one of the starts, to stop people macroing to get money for their items in the real world.

and now you have p mods that have been instructed to go around where bots are most common.
and j mods are on normal accounts, to play rs and look out for bots,

so if someone is talking to you perfectly, he may be a j mod in disguise, or a p mod on another acc.

Honestly, I would have to say you are a bit paranoid over the subject. You think jagex would take time to send out "undercover" mods. Bullshit...if they assume you are macroing, they are gonna ban you on the spot and let their customer support sort it out later.

Jagex tends to follow the "shoot first. Ask questions later." policy.

ill support the undercover theory. i was killing green drags for some time, when a lvl 110 came up to me said my full name, nothing else. so i said his name right back. he then slowly inched himself away from me. end of story.

undercover mods what shall we do

btw im not sayin its true just a possibility!

I was pondering, what if jagex has people on this site undercover looking at everyone posting things about scar, and always finding out about the latest techniques that we use?

Full grammar is awesome. It's now surprisingly common.

You must realize not everyone in the world has too much time in their hands and the will to pull-off such stupid operations. Jagex admins work for Jagex, so I'm guessing they have some other things to do too than just "go undercover", and for that kind of "omg check if that guy uses a bawt lolz" stuff they have their very own league of retards to use, the PLAYER MODERATORS!

Cruel fact is that jagex workers do not sacrifice loads of their time just to find out if you're macroing, and there is not 10 000 people army sitting behind their pc's 24/7 walking around spotting macroers.. There might be quite alot of rambling in this post but it annoys me how some people tend to post and think that jagex workers spend all their time manually watching over players spotting macroers, which is obviously just stupid..
