I would get better but my parents control the computer like their genitals. :P
Had AVG 7.5 Free now I got AVG 8

BTW guys, Norton stinks really bad. It has a huge 'footprint' (wastes a lot of your CPU) and it doesn't even detect many viruses.

I dont think NOD32 has a scanning feature? all it does is detect not scan?
Lol? Of course it has an option to scan... and Detecting is pretty much the same as scanning -.-I dont think NOD32 has a scanning feature? all it does is detect not scan?
In the first tab, go to the NOD32 button and click on Run NOD32 Local Scanning to scan. Lulz.

I normally just use norton, but i also have McAfee to use (its weaker version I use as backup). If I stumble upon something really bad, i normally use a free web scanner( because some are quite powerful), and then manually delete it myself.
I've been using Kaspersky for the last few months, very good anti virus program.
A good working one is Norman Download Link. It has a self updating system to keep it all up to date.
AVG free 8 FTW!
I use AVG 8.0. I don't really download a lot, it's just my siblings and my mom downloading stuff from music and emails and whatnot.

Use to have Eset NOD, but I traded up for Kaspersky, works like a charm. Usually ranked in the top 3 with Eset nod and bitdefender.
@chitin
I hope your firewall detects program access as well, otherwise a Trojan could just inject itself into your web browser and get past it without any problem.
