Also I have a few copies of the latest vBulletin if you want. It is torrented so don't worry about licensing with them.
Comes with ~1300 mods and ~100 skins.
    vBulletin is shit

vBulletin is for people that like the theme more than faster loading times, more power etc. However, Invision Power Board, is good for faster loading boards and more moderation options, etc etc Theme/Style = vBulletin, Power = Invision Power Board

Depends though. Larger communites may require faster boards and more mdoeration features for all those members, whilst small communites may like vBulletin since of it's extremely easy ability to skin

Even though you can make the exact same skin for Invision Power Board, it's just harder since you'll need to know PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Various Hex Code to make a good skin

True, true. Though what's your thought on phpBB?

To me it seems like a moderation of both, not too much, but not too less. And it's free

phpBB is not that reliable, it has good moderation options, but it lacks the speed and skinning options of vBulletin and Invision Power Board and it does not have a good administrator interface along with crap features.

SMF is alright to skin, and a little bit faster and does not have good moderation options. Also it has a good admin interface

The only reason why people really choose vBulletin more is that many small communites use it, since there are rare large boards. You should see all the warez communites, they mostly use Invision Power Board as a forum software, why? Because it is good and powerful and easy to use

Well, you don't just have to use Invision Power Board. It's whatever suits your liking If you prefer themes that you make better than speed, then go with vBulletin, if not, go with Invision Power Board or if not go with SMF but if you have a large community and don't want to use a nulled/illegal board, then go with PHPBB, since SMF cannot support large databases that good

How is that killing a website? It is much more powerful than vBulletin vBulletin is just there to look good You should see how much some skins cost for IPB, $40-70 and custom skins for IPB cost around $250-800, so that's why vBulletin is better, skin-wise
