    Default Interesting idea

    i was thinking...

i could create a runescape client with two runescape applets running next to eachother
they would both be logged into the same worlds, one using an unsigned aplet. some of you 1337 scripters can create scripts that have the two users interact with eachother, it can use bitmaps to read when the other player is trading him, you can have one player mine iron and another player run to him to bank it, or have a air rune runner. Please let me kno if you guys think it is a good idea. you could almost enver get banned from it and you would complete tasks much faster

Would both applets have focus? If not, then I don't see the advantage over having 2 regular clients.

I wouldn't use it for those purposes. Trading something for nothing sends a flag (I think). Also, running 2 chars crafting/mining at the same time would be slightly more productive (although of course each player would get half as much exp). I just thought of one thing I would use it for tho, having 1 client for a char that mine iron, and then the other for a bunch of noobs that cycle, and have the first give the ores needed for dorics quest to the noobs.

You don't need focus if you do coordinates a certain way.

Wow. I've been away quite a while. Real life, yea, way unpredictable. Sorry, y'all, if I've caused any inconvenience.

The way scripts work with it can be dealt with later, I'm not worried about coords. What is more important is detectability, human likeness, antiban etc. I was asking about focus for trading reasons. It would look weird if focus went from one to the other. Just as weird as it looks now when trading with 2 clients.

one player would continue mining as the other player traded him, went to the bank and then came back to take the next load, you could even have them send provate and public messeges to eachother, liek after he banks he says " comming for the nextr load!" then the miner says "ok, i need like 10 more"

Yes I know how ore running works. What I am asking is will both applets have focus the whole time? Because if not, one will have focus when it clicks trade, then the other when it accepts, then other when it puts up the ores, then the other when it accepts... etc. That's how it works now using 2 regular clients.

By the way, with mining like that, one player will get more materials and one will get more exp. Having 2 simulateous players mining and banking normally, there is more total exp and more total materials. Of course this means the exp is spread out over 2 players (so is the materials but that can be traded at the end of the day/week).

I'm not saying this is a bad idea or poking holes but I need to know will both applets have focus the whole time?

Only one applet can have focus, but only one needs it. The main issue is instead the mouse coordination (if you use two SCARs) or clicking the one not active window (with one SCAR).

Using 2 scars and setting the crosshairs for 2 applets means coords are normal. Inter Scar Messaging and well thought out scripts will make sure that both don't try to use the keyboard/mouse at the same time. My point is, unless both have focus at the same time, it will just be like having a big enough resolution and 2 clients. Unless I am mistaken, jagex can tell whether the applet has focus or not, and if 2 players trading happen to never have focus at the same time, it will be a possible way to get banned. Does anyone know what I'm trying to say?
