Parents won't pay for RS?

For those of you out there who knew this already sorry for the waste of time . You can pay for your RS membership through the mail (*gasp*). I know exciting isn't it. Anyway the steps....

1: Go to Runescape

2:Click on "Start a New Subscription". Looks like this...



3:Enter your Username and Password here.



4:Under "Choose Product" click RS.



5:Click "Subscribe Without Credit Card"



6:Under "Duration" click how many months to pay for.



7: Confirm Right Under the "Duration" Part.



8:Agree to the Terms of Service Here.



9: Now you will see a series of different choices. Click the first one.



10: Then type in the information asked and continue.



11: Follow the instructions given and you should see a box with your order number (VERY IMPORTANT) and your Username. Print that page out, put it in an envelope with the amount asked, slap on a few stamps and send it . You should see a mailing address, a list of instructions, and the order form. For those who would like to see where RS's home base is.



This is what your order form should look like...



Took me about 30 minutes to slap on a few pictures. I know it's a BIT detailed, but hey there are leechers out there who can't even setup SCAR . Anyway, WHALA. Your membership should be coming in roughly (idk) days. =). It usually takes 6 days from California to Virginia.

Important Things To Know!

1: Make sure you have the appropriate amount of stamps on the letter, you don't want to lose a crap load of money just cause of that right?

2: 2nd MOST IMPORTANT: (Thanks for the pointer King of Nites)Jagex sends you an email once they have collected the money. Make sure that your parents don't read that message. I would suppose that most of you have the common sense to make your own email right

3: MOST IMPORTANT: Make sure that you don't have a return address! OMFG THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Only send it with a return address if your parents don't beat you, you have like a cajillion stamps on your envelope (exaggeration), and you are sure you have sent the correct amount of money (assuming that it is employee policy for the Jagex staff to send the invalid amount of money back to the sender).

.001% of mail ever gets lost in the mail, and that very little percent is in the movies when they are expecting an important message. (or Romeo and Juliet)

The only problem is that Jagex sends out an email once it has recieved info and then if you put in your parents email on the mailing form. Also if you share an email with your parents.

Ah, I discovered this myself a few years back when I played runescape legitly all the time and could never get my parents to lend me paypal or credit card to get members until me and my friend looked for every possible way, this way is defiantly the best way for anyone out there looking to buy membership and is under-aged/parents won't give in.

Well, I'm confident the reason parents don't give in is because they think we will get addicted to the game. Some cases this is true, but hell, I barely even play anymore. Just tellin you guys how I got membership when I was in grade school and jr. high.

Haha, well I suppose you could go to the bank in your home contry and ask for a conversion into US dollars.

Then send the money without a return address to Jagex and I'm sure they will give you membership regardless.

(I don't know if they would still give membership if they see that your IP is of another country, might wanna check that out.)

Thats not what I'm talking about. Some banks over the world have US dollars that you can give them YOUR currency in exchange for US dollars. Then send the dollars in an envelope to Jagex.

Haha, yep. So for some of you out there, using this method, it will only take a few days (2-3) east coast. If your Cheese, less XD. But for us West-Coasters it'll take a good 5-8 days.
