They don't want to work, they don't want to talk to people, they don't want to do anything besides play some game or something of that nature. Kids these days hardly have any experience in working. Most kids these days either sit at home and do nothing, but play video games, and others sit around drink, smoke, and do drugs. Neither group accomplishing nearly anything.
Well I guess the old saying of we will end up killing ourselves may have finally become true. In ten years or so, I want to see any of these kids become an active part in the work force.
Yeah, teenage years are indeed supposed to be fun, but not doing anything besides playing video games and doing drugs is a pretty good indication that they probably wont be a big help to society.
Now I am not blaming this all on the kids, time to hit the parents side of things too.
Parents these days support their kids way too much. They pay for everything they want. Whether it be a new game system, new games, or just random amounts of money given to them. Kids don't have to work for anything, they just ask their parents for some money and they get what they want.
Also, parents have recently been blaming other people for their mistakes. Like the parents of the kids that plotted attacks and went through with attacks on their school etc. were blaming video games and video game companies for their games teaching these kids how to do these things, and embedding the anger into them. Now how can this be a video games fault when, every video game has a rating. Now if parents paid any attention to what their child was doing, they would notice that the games they were playing were rated M. Rated M, is recommended for people of 18 years and older, yet, parents are letting their kids play them at even age 7 and 8.
If you want someone to blame, blame the parents. Seriously not the game companies. The game companies are just putting it out their, its up to the players to actually play it, and its up to the parents and the players themselves to actually pay attention to what happens, so that cases like this don't happen.
Seriously do you think that the parents were paying any attention to the kid, if the kid never left the house, not even for school. Never left the computer, and was lacking any intelligence? I really don't think so.
Now I am not in favor of Jagex LTD. I am just in favor of game companies as a whole that face these lawsuits and the blame they get for cases like this and more extreme ones like the shootings that were blamed on games and such.
Parents blame video games because they don't have any experience with them. They don't know what they are. They usually have never played them, themselves.
Now I know, some of you may be thinking that I am a little young to be complaining about this, myself only being 18.
But I think I may be the end of the era of hard working people. I think the eventual collapse of society may be based off people like this. Just because they have no experience doing anything besides game.
EDIT: Whoops forgot something
I wouldn't actually be surprised if Zezima isn't an actual player, just an account that Jagex runs and manages to give the players a "role model" of sorts, meaning that is the character that they want to be just like.
