Administrator's Warning:
hopefully the autocolors will be fixed some more, cant get road color just below lumbridge, where fishing and mining tutor is.
also having problems with srl 19 where no scripts work due to FindTextTPA having access error, but working fine with srl 18.
also do we know yet why freddys plug in started to trigger anti virus?? never happened before, all i am doing is useing an older version and its fine.
I don't think the autocolors will be fixed for rev 20, I do think the FindTextTPA will be looked at.
The bar on the right of smart is the FPS bar. It controls the frames per second smart gets from RS. A low FPS count takes up less CPU usage but it might influence the script you use.
Administrator's Warning:
why wont they be looked at?
FindTextTPA is used in login in aint it? thats y i posted it coz when i updated to 19 it through up a problem with that as i was loging in.
and as for the autocolor, i suppose thats fine as long as you dont use the road below lumbridge, which i do, and anyother which dont work (bridge autocolor).
guess i will just have to use bitmaps to auto color again![]()
Bobzilla, SRL has -never- had an autocolor function for every road in the game. Writing up an autocolor function is very easy. It's a standardized procedure now. The impossible part is making one that's bulletproof and won't be affected by major game overhauls like we've had recently.
If you want a custom road autocolor function, then it's not hard to make one yourself. ACA is included in SRL, and essentially does all the work for you. You just have to hop worlds and pick colors.
When I wrote all those autocolor functions in the first place, it was because I needed them for my own scripts. I've considered removing the autocolor.scar from SRL completely, since I personally think every autocolor function should be script side. But they are there as a reference and to help new people learn. If I had more real life time, I would keep every autocolor function up to date, but I'm effectively inactive for the time being. Other people have pitched in and fixed autocolor functions before, but you need to realize that the person best able to tell whether a function is good or not is the one regularly using it in their script.
so, rev 19 came out with the new SMART?

Tarajunky:
I learned how to autocolor from your autocolor.scar
and I often try to submit new ranges to you and wizzup so that the autocolor.scar work.
Bobzilla:
It's really simple to make your own autocolor and works much better than waiting for official releases and aca is only a starting spot you will learn in time to do things like extend the ranges alittle beyond what your previous max \ min where and that xyz color don't matter and that hue sat and the other aren't really needed. I can give you a couple of scripts that I made to help aid autocoloring if you pm me.
Devs:
Congratulations! awesome last two releases!
notes: could revision number be changed to 20 in the next release.
if a Dev sees this then please PM me, I'm interested in what converting the includes to C++ would do.
So, with this new rev is it possible to start autoing in the new Runescape again?
Woo! I think it was the fastest new revision, like 1 or 2 days only?
Spam ftw!
