    You mean he is one of the few that actually paid for a quality computer instead of a POS PC box.

    He was simply pointing out that, in his opinion, it's not worth spending twice the money for a computer with not as good hardware.

    i use osx and in my opinion it pwns windows
    also its a better quality screen then my laptop
    so perhaps i would get less anomalies in scar

    and on a side note my mac crashes 10 times less than my windows
    and boots up 100 times quicker...just saying lol

    In my eyes.

    OSX = Linux.

    Just buy/build you a nice cheap pc and throw Linux on there.

    How did this thread turn into a PC-Mac-Linux war?

    Back on topic, I think it would be a nice addition, but I don't think that Freddy would take the time to develop that. Maybe if someone was dedicated enough, Freddy could lend them the source and they could code it them selves.

    I don't think it would be too hard but then again I know very little on the subject . If you want to run scar on osx you will ahve to do it via windows emulation on osx (VMWare, Parallels, etc.) and on Linux you can use Wine.

    First, I don't think Benland even knows much Delphi. If he does happen to know enough to port it to OSX, I'm not sure there is even a Delphi compiler for it.
    EDIT: @djdirtbag, my XP has crashed once in two years. Once. Just a BSOD.
