    Default The Assassin.

    The Assassin.

    Code:
Out of the night he crawls up to the sky,
observing the target beyond his eyes.

Holding a rifle so tight in his hand,
    something many will never understand.
Into position, he steadys his aim,
rested gently upon the window frame.

An evil eye through a cold metal scope,
nothing left.. except to aim well and hope..

One bullet fired and all that it took,
down goes the target and down goes the crook.
Back into the night away from the scene,
on runs the assassin, it's his routine...

Out of the night he strolls into the sky,
up to the place that his killer wont find...

The last two words didn't rhyme, "Sky" and "Find" , but they still both have that "-eye-" sound, and it fits the poem well.

Kind of a shame the Poetry section is dead .

Poems do not always need to rhyme. And sometimes they have something called 'slant rhyme'. Google it .
